Yeah it might be hacked data from them that was sold but you can Google and do the research. But they have a shady past to rise where they are now, and not 100% trusting of them...

Do nord ever actually have their vpn at full price? It's always on some discount or other to try and make it look like a bargain - does anyone actually fall for that?

It probably will, but it is a one MONTH subscription - so just a tester. 1 and 2 years are at 74% and presumably you may not get cashback on the second if you had the first.

My 100% cashback tracked last time, I've only ever been declined cashback when I've returned items or used coupon codes.

I think surfshark could be a better choice.

Its worth the £68 without cashback. Always fast and so many servers to use. Wireguard supported for ultrafast connection. The apps are good. The Linux app even runs on the Raspberry Pi 2B as well.

Quidco/TCB showing 100%/101.5% for me. TCB has paid out previously after a very long wait (over a year I think).

Mine tracked. Be mindful though - it doesn't include VAT.

Still, £15 or so for 27 months of NordVPN is pretty good! 55p a month. (edited)

If you’ve got cashback that means it pays for itself, go for it... However this morning I replaced our NordVPN with ExpressVPN. I use a VPN on our router and Nord had become more of a hinderance than anything. Random dropouts increasingly regularly, more and more websites not loading and the main irritant was that the Ring doorbell app was blocked. All of the issues now solved with ExpressVPN so far.

The owners of NordVPN are shady. They are anonymous through a Panamanian company.

One of the appointed execs is also chief of a information harvesting company.

It won't matter to most people. The chief of UK counter terrorism is looking into make it illegal to question vaccines. So you might want another provider if you value free speech.

I was all set to get Nord, who for years have seemed the best quality service albeit not cheap. Get what you pay for and all that. Then I come here and already there’s a few issues with them. The only VPN I’ve seen that has really no complaints is Express VPN but they’re dear and no Black Friday deals of note...Confused!

Just get it. I have been using Nord since 2010 and my current sub runs until 2029 as I stack up when a 100% offer comes along and I have always been paid the cashback so it doesn't cost me anything at all. People complaining about speeds, I stream 4k content all the time via various 3rd party apps (using real debrid offcourse) and Amazon Prime and never really had any issues. My ISP speed is about 67mbps and I usually get around the same with or without my nord VPN.

Got this a while back, paid about £80 but got cashback of around £65, 3 years for £15 not bad at all

To those complaining about no cashback. I got the 100% cash back for 3 years Nord vpn and it tracked and got paid via Quidco 3 months after.

Great VPN - I use it myself on a dedicated router and apart from the fact they have a habit of just killing a server and not telling the people connected to it, I have no gripes and would renew tomorrow if I didn't have 2 years left.

As far as deals go, they constantly run discounts so this is nothing new and not much different to their previous offerings. I paid about £80 for 3 years with 50% cashback through TCB.

They should just stop the stupid promotions and charge a standard, low amount.

    Million $ question

I paid in pounds but someone else said they paid via US and used a no-foreign transaction fee card and they said it tracked too.

I kinda wish I did now but hey-ho.
  33. seanuk03's avatar
Mine tracked at 100% last time without any issues at all and I even changed the country selection I was in to a different country so didn’t have to pay the 20% UK VAT.

It’s a shame you can’t seem to add this to current subscriptions as my current one’s not up till 2023, a few extra years for free would be nice 😁 (edited)

Never got my cashback from Quidco on my last purchase of NordVPN, despite being able to confirm/prove the purchase.
