- On the Digital Items page select the View Details button on the relevant digital item.

- Once the code has been retrieved follow the relevant instructions to redeem the code.

I did search and 1 reddit post a guy had 7 years. Just checking if I buy 2 I won't loose out or cant redeem the 2nd code. As I know Xbox GPU is a maximum of 3 years.
I am stacked for 5 years personally. Not sure how far you can go with Plus but certainly two years would redeem fine.

I think they turn on autorenew after every purchase you make. Very shady practice and a lot of people get caught out. If this is the first time it's happened to you, you can message them and they might refund you.
Going forwards, the best way is to never save your card details on there. What I do is just add my card when I want to make a purchase and then immediately remove it once the transaction has gone through. It's a pain to add it each time but it prevents issues like this.- Author

It has been £29.95 on ShopTo. Since I always buy it every June, for 29.95 and I have a year left, I’m not sure I can be bothered with this and hope it drops to the usual price later in the month. Probably won’t though. Seems to be yet another mystery Covid Tax on absolutely everything everywhere. (edited)

I messaged last night and got this reply this morning.
Hi, all codes should be activated by Sony, when provided by Sony server, if the code has not been activated, we will be in contact with Sony, when both ours and their offices reopen later this morning, to resolve the matter.Please try again at periodic intervals, to check if code has been activated.

That's also a great price for PS Now, though as someone who's been subbed to it for almost a year, I'd advise skipping it if you're only interested in the time-limited games and also have PS+ - both services have shared a lot of the same games (including Virtua Fighter 5 this month). My point was that why would they expire if they haven't been redeemed by 9th June? You are paying for a PS Plus code, not for a code to reduce the price of PS Plus. That's why I'm questioning why it could expire so quickly after purchasing.
I guess I did not explain myself properly. See this is from the redemption page of my code. As you see the code provided is a promo code for days of play which included 25% discount on it. Yes you are not paying for a code to get the discount but you are paying for a discounted code to redeem directly. Imagine if you could buy now and sell the codes later on? That is why the codes are having an expiry date to stop scalpers.
Every time you redeem your code, please check the 'Subscriptions Management' page as it turns on auto-renew automatically and you have to confirm twice that you want to turn it off.thelonesoldier01/06/2021 12:03

I'm gonna ring my banks disputes line on my lunch today and get it sorted.
Word of warning re. chargebacks: I have seen on Reddit people complaining that their account was banned by Sony because they got a chargeback through their bank. I would recommend you try contacting Sony support first and see if they'd be willing to refund it first.

Make sure you get 7 Day codes and not 7 day Trial codes as codes that are listed as 7 day Trials will not work.

You will only start getting the games at the current month you start your subscription on, you will not be able to get any previous months games unfortunately. What I do is add all the current months titles to my library and then you are free to download them whenever you want to play them, it does not have to be the month they were available, just saves you downloading everything and taking up storage on your HDD. So just make sure you add them to your library and you will have them there for as long as you are a PS+ subscriber and are free to download them from your library whenever you like.

I got error when after the code was accepted and I tried to access the Psn Plus section. Restarted and received the welcome message for it and everything was fine. Accessed the subscription management to turn off auto renewl.

I've never heard of this happening before. Why on earth would they make codes only valid for a week and a half? I'm assuming Shopto are just trying to cover themselves but I'd be VERY surprised if these codes had an expiry date. I've purchased pre-owned games where an enclosed voucher code that supposedly expired more than two years ago redeemed just fine. I mean sure, redeem this PS Plus code straight away to be sure but if you forget to redeem it I think you should be perfectly fine.
It’s got nothing to do with shopto. Codes are coming directly from Sony. Sony’s promotion on ps plus starts today by reducing the price by 25%. Same code is being issued through Shopto. When the promotion period is over, the price will be back up again. So if you have a code from before, Sony won’t let you redeem it and you will get an error that the code is invalid etc.
