Is there any gamepass games on PC that run on tired old machines lol

Yes, there are numerous Game Pass games that run on years old PCs, including Doom (et al), Donut County, Day Of The Tentacle, Full Throttle, Limbo and Solitaire Collection Premium Edition. However, collecting the most points (up to 250 extra per day) requires a multiplayer game; the only one that I've been able to get working on my i3 and successfully crediting points is Age Of Empires. I find that Among Us also runs but didn't award points.

If the goal is to top up your Game Pass Ultimate with points then use your points on Xbox Live Gold, it’s more efficient. Buying Xbox Live Gold three months for 15000 points converts itself into 53 days off Game Pass Ultimate, per months it works out as around 9000 points, buying three months Ultimate directly is 35000, or 11666 points per month.

I never do any of the rewards that involve buying things and don’t do the weekly quests that are time consuming, if it takes longer than five minutes then I can’t be bothered, despite this the lowest monthly total I’ve ever had was 14001 back in June. More than enough for GamePass and what’s left over I buy all the fancy controllers Microsoft comes out with.

At the moment I’m getting loads of points from joining an online game on pc, it’s giving me an extra 290 points every day which adds up quickly, I’m surprised they’ve not fixed this yet as it’s clearly not intended as it’s giving the points for linking social accounts etc each day instead of just the once

You can exchange points for vouchers to spend at places like Microsoft, cafe nero, Decathlon, New Look, Halfords, TK MAXX and quite a few more.

How do you get 12k points a month?

I log into the bing app daily and click the 5 or 6 things on there to get 80-100 points a day. On gamepass, each day, week and month it has quests that consist logging into the gamepass app, playing a gamepass game a day, playing a certain gamepass game and doing other random quests like getting so many points in a game or killing so many enemies or a certain enemy. It makes it quite fun especially if it’s a game that isn’t on your radar and you enjoy it. Monthly points for me normally gets me around 10k plus the daily points and streaks you add on to that just take me over the 12k then I redeem it on the rewards app for a gamepass month pass.

Realistically, I earn about 10-12K MS Reward Points a month without spending a penny if I stay on top of it.
If you buy digitally and get lucky with a punch-card, you can get +6K points from that.

I tend to let mine add up and buy collectable stuff like the LE controllers that will hold value.
Over the last 6 months I had the Space Jam and Forza Horizon 5 LE controllers.

Mine never fixed last month. I had to contact them and they manually gave me 500 pts.. it still showed as incomplete for the rest of the month though.

They still owe me 2000 though as the monthly reward never completed either due to the top 10 glitching. Unfortunately MS haven't acknowledge my request for that...

It’s not BS at all. I earned 25k points in November without buying anything, but this included the free 6000 on the Battlefield 2042 trial. With the new daily quests on Xbox iOS app that got added just over a week ago, you can get over 20k pointsper month easily. (edited)

Firstly, make sure its the Xbox app, not the Xbox Game Pass app. They are two different apps, and ideally you should have both installed anyway, as the XGP app also has quests of its own such as logging into that app once every day, etc.

Anyway, on the Xbox app, it's the last icon on the right at the bottom of the menu, that one should be for your profile and should display your profile pic as the icon, click on that, and one of the sections inside there is Rewards where the quests are, you claim the points for completing them here also

I don't think so. I average 15k a month. Never buy anything. I miss at least 1-2k each month because I don't bother with anything involving games I don't want to play or with hunting achievements each and every day.

From doing daily, weekly and monthly tasks you can get around 12.5k, that's based on a 28 day month and doing all the GP mobile app tasks, Xbox app tasks and daily search/browser activities. It doesn't include things like random punch cards that get thrown up or if someone has a 6k punch card for purchasing a game. It also doesn't include the Console Rewards App weekly streak bonus, which is every 10 weeks after the first ten weeks

It's not as good as it used to be since family sharing got turned off, where I could get over 20k a month, also the GP app tasks used to be a bit more generous.

I don't go as hard at it now I don't have a goal for the points. So I'll miss daily achievements and forget streaks, but it's alright.
