sorted byBK do a Vegan Society approved Vegan Royale, Katsu Vegan Royale, and Vegan Nuggets, and fries.
BK whoppers aren't veggie (even the "Plant-based" ones).
Offers are available on the BK website and app, including £1.99 Vegan Royales on Meat-Free Mondays, £8.99 for two Vegan Royale meals, and £3.99 for 20 Vegan Nuggets.
The BK Vegan stuff is more like fake-chicken than the McDonalds veg nuggets etc, or the beef-style McPlant.
McDonalds The Spicy Veggie One Wrap is vegan, and is the £1.99 wrap of the day on Mondays and Thursdays.
KFC's Vegan burger is vegan (cooked separately and with different utensils). It's Quorn chicken style but with KFC crispy coating. KFC fries are NOT vegan.
Uplift means increase in sales, GC is Gift Certificate (the offer code), PSPD is Per Store, Per Day.
It's telling managers and higher what the expected uptake of the offer will be. (edited)
As with a recent similar promotion you can only partake on the specified burger deal days.
The deal either shows on the main page of the app or under "Offers" and you just click through. (edited)
McPlant is vegan. Burger King plant based whopper isn't as that is cooked in the same broiler as meat (edited)
So to feed the family, each member will need to get the app.
I am gonna reveal my secret for the best ever burger in McD:
Order 2 single/double/triple cheesburgers, add extra mustard, gherkins and onions (all for free), then get rid of the bottom part (as it's dry) of the burger bun from both burgers and put the two burgers together.
Thank me later.
Doesn't start until 18th May. Some deals are for selected accounts but these will be available for everyone
Cross contamination is used as a term across all kitchens.
Believe it not, people don't want their vegetarian food covered in meat juice, or people might not want to find a nut in their food. (edited)
Hopefully they've improved this forecast uplifts at McDonald's from the early 90s - it used to be taught as a cautionary tail at universities about supply chain management.
Early-90s McDs ran a BOGOF offer on Big Macs, but the supply chain manager for UK only assumed that the number of Big Macs being sold would double as two burgers given away where there should've been one
What actually happened was demand increased eight-fold and within a day the entire big mac buns and patties stock of McDonalds had been sold, and restaurants offered the deal on QPs, Chicken and Fish (which then also sold out everywhere). Nearly collapsed McDs and took weeks to get supplies back to normal again. (edited)
But has anyone notice how terrible McDonald's service is lately? "fast food" that takes 10+ minutes and about half the time it's not the correct order...
I always add lettuce, mayo and sometimes tomato 🍅 to 1/4lb or double burger 🍔
You can remove stuff if you click on customise as well as add (edited)
I always remove onion and mustard, add extra pickles. My favourite
McDonald's has a tomato shortage currently so no tomatoes can be added to burgers that don't come with tomato by default, but when it's available sometimes I do like to add tomato (edited)
Contamination ? You make it sound like Chernobyl
Double quarter pounder is the best burger at mcdonalds. Hands down winner.
Yes! It seems to have been really poor recently. I assume staff shortages?
Almost threw my Grand BigMac Bacon at the wall last week when I got home. It had no bacon. If I order your novelty special, I want that damned novelty.
I may have it confused with BK?
This one is fine as approved by veggie society unlike the silly BK attempt
BK fries are vegan
Given what some of the skanks in the school playground feed their kids ("It's Haribo for dinner again Kryztal") I honestly think Maccies is probably the healthy choice for some children.
I like the double quarter pounder with cheese but nothing, and I mean nothing, beats the triple cheeseburger. Nothing will change my mind
try it you snowflake. what's the worst that could happen?
