1) Add the £13.73 option to cart and enter in the discount code (Untick the Customer Protection Program. Also, don't choose the Smart price option).
2) Purchase code.
3) Retrieve the code from Gamivo website.
4) Then go to disneyplus.com/en-gb/redeem and enter your code.
5) Once your all set up, remember to log into your disney account and select 'Cancel Subscription'. This will cancel the auto renew when your Subscription expires.
You CANNOT have an active Disney+ subscription while redeeming this code. The code can be used on both old and new accounts.
This is a restricted product and it can be activated and played ONLY in the United Kingdom.
The code MUST be redeemed before the 14th of October 2022.

But at first kept getting the 'Special offer £1.99 for 1st month' page which didn't let me actually use my code (no navigation links to account, etc.).

Actually now seen my error. What looked like a key is in fact the order number (even seen an order number that looks like a crypto key?). In fact the order is on hold due to 'security reasons' and there isn't a key yet. Gamivo could make that a LOT clearer. It's asking me to await a support ticket.
Upddate: So I'd used a different email to sign up to Gamivo from my Paypal one and had to click an additional email verification in my inbox. After some more faffing, it worked. To the sound of the door slamming behind this offer it seems. (edited)
Worked perfectly. You need to add a payment method to Disney to activate. I then cancelled the subscription immediately which allows full use of the 12 months

I'm in Ireland but have no issue setting up a UK account, will it block me from playback if my device location is in Ireland. I know I could workaround it with a VPN but just wanted to get thoughts on it.
I know it's not an issue for Netflix as I've got a Turkish Plan.
Just turned the VPN off and it has no issues, downloads and streams fine

Reminds me way too much of Steam game key reseller sites. You buy it and it works great. You buy it and it's already claimed good luck trying to get a refund.
To cancel auto-renew can anyone confirm that clicking “Cancel Subscription” does not immediately close the account?
I'm pretty sure it just cancels the autorenew in a years time, but Disney is being manipulative here to discourage cancelling auto-renew.
Ordered last night and I’ve got only confirmation email nothing else.
How much is it per year usually?
