This seems expensive - came up at £96 for the year at black Friday & Christmas. Also not they will NOT let you upgrade early (they used to, indeed I had not lonng taken 25GB for £8 & upgraded to 40GB - got another 3 months prime too - alas tried more recently to see what offers & was faced with around £60 termination fee).

Oh yes, one of very few to include Switzerland in free EEA roaming - they only do this on pay monthly. (edited)

Keep going and that fee disappears for now. Guessing they are preparing for point when it won’t so the times or recycling deal every 3 months to get constant free Disney+ or prime may be numbered.
Just renewed my wife’s deal earlier in week for this or very similar deal and was just under 3 months since it’s last renewal.

Can I ask what VOLT is?

Virgin media customers can get double data on plans from O2.

I upgraded early only 2 weeks ago. The termination fee disappeared when you click on the next page.

The £8 deal does seem a bit better unless you need more data, and now is the best time to get a 12 month sim to have minimal price increase and renew next April.

Weirdly we cancelled our Virgin Broadband about 2 months ago but we're still getting double data on our O2 sims. Is that normal?

You keep the volt benefits until the contract is up. Just DONT upgrade or you’ll loose volt

The signal on O2 is terrible, I am unable to use my phone most of the times even in the middle of the cities. Can’t wait till my contact is up. Definitely try it with a pay as you go before you decide to switch

I binned them off after 20 years with them, their network is virtually unusable now especially for the Internet, I was wary of swapping networks in case they screwed up the number port as I use it for business and loads of customers have it. The swap went well though and now I'm with ee I get a signal nearly everywhere.

I just phoned them to get this on my contract that has run out and they would not give it me because they say it is on 3rd party offer and they can’t do it over the phone anymore(confused) 12 month ago I did it and it was done in 2 minutes call now on line for 20 minutes + waiting (edited)

You can literally upgrade to this plan online.

Hate that switching from existing contract triggers a new credit search. 2 I got at £8 last year have gone up so need a new one

    Interesting when I upgraded I didn’t get a search…

Only if you know the places you go to have cells that are not overloaded....else you'll hardly be able to use that data allowance......
