Heineken Silver is a 4% lager, it's aimed at being a premium light lager so like Bud light or Coors light.
They did this with Inch's Cider shortly after launch.
Have to turn on location services to redeem voucher via email.
I own 2 pubs and we are accepting the vouchers, we get fully refunded by Heineken so don't feel like you are going to hurt the pub.

1: WHAT IS INCLUDED?
You can claim a free pint of Heineken Silver, which you’ll be able to find at any participating outlet, subject to availability. You can only redeem one pint for the duration of the campaign.

2: HOW DO I REDEEM MY FREE PINT OF HEINEKEN SILVER?
All you need to do to claim your free pint of Heineken Silver is follow the simple below steps.1. Enter your date of birth and country location.
2. Enter your details into the form and then click “Click here to claim”.
3. Allow your location to be shared if prompted or manually search for locations to find your local participating outlet. If you don’t see this popup, please make sure your smartphone is set to allow location access on your browser, otherwise it won’t work.

bud lite or coors? not selling this well. i would rather drink from the discarded pop bottles behind a truck stop.
    Grant_'s avatar
Please be careful ! A trusted friend of mine told me that discarded pop bottles found behind truck ( lorry ) stop's may not be bottles of what the label advertises because lorry drivers drink from these bottles whilst driving and re-fill the drink bottles with their urine!!!!
I think i would stick to trying this lager......
    Hope this helps.

Not available in Wales thanks to our socialist leader Dripford!

Cold the map shows no NI locations & there's no list option.

I always think it's odd that people vote cold on a deal just because it's not available or applicable to them.
This is free how can it be a bad deal?

Liking the new pint glasses they use for Silver.

They are really nice, we have lost about 40 since they came in a few months ago.

They really are scum with no soul. Very messed up they choose to do this exactly the same time… Every year, Macmillan runs a Sober October campaign to encourage people to go alcohol-free in October to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I’m pretty sure if you were that committed to stoptober and had taken the time to get get sponsored, one free pint isn’t going to change your mind (edited)

Thanks. Any idea when it's on till of how many drinks are available?

On until mid Nov. It's one voucher per email address but depends on how strict the pub is too, personally we will keep serving the same people, as long as they have a voucher.

    Anyone remember Becks Vier?
    Ouzoherb's avatar
now becks is 4% isnt that the same stuff now
  10. ZaGaZ's avatar
Ah.... Free beer... Always welcome with today's prices 🔥🍻 cheeers
    JoeyPants's avatar
Exactly. That’s why I don’t feel shame standing at the bar with my voucher while some barman gives you a suspicious look (depends which pub you go to, some staff are lovely, some horrible, some pubs even let you use more than one voucher a day) trying to figure out how to put the voucher through the till.
The recently finished tiny rebel offer was great because there was a glitch in the fullers system which meant you could use the same email again & again. Must’ve had a hundred pints in all!

Let me guess: no participating locations in Scotland?
    JohnE's avatar
T&Cs say offer only open to residents of England

Between this and the pint of Coors deal and free Heineken silver bottles deal I haven't had to pay for alcohol all month... 🪩
  13. laplap's avatar
    Thanks.
  14. Mark5211's avatar
Been given two full cases of this stuff to try, I’ve yet to finish a bottle without pouring it away, it’s like a weak coors.
    mike59's avatar
Any way of getting two free cases myself

Cheers 3 pints in 3 different pubs next to each other . 👌

Cheers, got a night out in London tomorrow and I can grab a free pint by the office to start things off

I haven't had Heineken since I was a teen in the 80s. Is it still weak p*ss like Carling, Fosters etc?
    weeZl's avatar
i think Carling can take the honours on that one

As many said, another campaign with lots of confusion. My local pub didn't know anything, I was the first to claim. After claiming in front of staff there was a message "Voucher claimed". After refreshing, another message "You've already redeemed your Voucher.... on 20th January"

    Anyway, they honoured it.
    Thanks again OP

So give away all your details to be a marketing statistic and all you get is 1 pint??

Although it’s better than giving all your life away for like signing up to FB 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just need a working email address, name and dob details can be "invented". (edited)

Closest is about 15 miles away. Nothing in Cheshire really. Considering there are two pubs serving Silver in Nantwich I thought the offer would apply wherever it is sold.

You have to sign up to the offer, it's really easy though and they ask you how much you need to be refunded per pint...
  27. gazzathegreat14's avatar
Mine is an hour and a half away, haha!
  28. unreality's avatar
So much faffing about by breweries. Should just be a simple choice of a couple of decent 4.0% - 4.5% lagers and a 5% option. And perhaps a light option.
  29. ashman33's avatar
Nearest pub is 15 miles away wtf.

Just checked out the reviews of this on both Tesco and Asda. The 5 star reviews are suspiciously favourable and all worded very similar. Imagine my surprise when I saw exactly the same reviews on both Asda's and Tesco's websites! Heineken are definitely writing these reviews. This surely isn't legal.
    Check them out yourselves.

They might be submitted by an RRP member via the TopCashback app.
I've been offered TCB cashback for Heineken Silver recently, in return they ask me to write a review and submit the same review to multiple stores. All done via the TCB app.
It's very easy to find the same review posted on different stores via this method.

In fact, several of the reviews I just read actually say they tried it as part of a promotion. (edited)
