    made to better resist cold weather and rain, in context. thicker to trap more air and as such warmer and made at least partially out of wool which doesn't absorb water, which keeps any leaks in your shoes localized.

    Really good quality socks. Not waterproof or anything like that, but very comfy fit (size 11), warm and dry quickly.

    Got loads of these and just picked up another 2 packs. Excellent socks and very comfortable.

    Bought similar ones from Sports Direct and they were terribly stitched and shrunk massively in the wash.

    These are really comfy socks and nice and warm. However, the last 2 packs I purchased have worn very quickly. I've had them before and they lasted much longer, so going to put this down to a bad batch and buy some more. One other tip, just buy the single colour (black ones). If you do this when the inevitable sock goes missing you only have to lose another and you're back to having another pair.

    Same happened to me, worn holes through very quickly, I wouldn't buy again for that reason

    Bought 4 packs of these around 3 years ago and have used on rotation. They still look as good as new and are the best all-round socks I have ever owned.

    Try taking them off at the end of the day and giving them a wash, they'll last longer.

    I got to say these are seriously chunky socks perfect for boots but would struggle in trainers unless you go up hslf a size

    Can recommend a pair of darn tough socks. Expensive but a lifetime warranty so when you do eventually wear through them, they send you another pair. Top brand and been around for years.

    Picked up a pair in store for £7.20! Even though it says the size ranges from 6-11, I’m a size 8/8.5 and they just about fit without being too loose so you might struggle if your feet are smaller.
