Picture-perfect: Not only is your gameplay crisper, but with a 1ms MPRT/ 2ms gray to gray response time, the pixels themselves change color almost instantaneously to eliminate motion blur.

Dive into the details, See every detail: You won’t believe how immersive it will feel with a 27” curved QHD display that offers 77% more screen content than you’d get with Full HD.

The full spectrum: VA panel technology delivers a high 3000:1 contrast ratio for deeper blacks and brighter whites. Together with sRGB 99% color coverage, the colors are extremely vibrant across a wide viewing angle (178 degrees).

A new view: A 1500R curved screen with a 3-sided narrow border provides a truly immersive gaming experience by enhancing your field of vision, while reducing distortion, glare and reflection.

Designed for gaming - Light it up: A new uniquely designed downlight provides ambient illumination for gaming in low-light environments.

Keep your cool: Vents featured on the back of the monitor are engineered for enhanced heat dispersal so you can game all day.

Win from any angle: Game in comfort for extended periods thanks to a new slim, tapered stand with easy height and tilt adjustability. The angled base provides sturdy support and a smaller footprint, allowing for more desktop space for additional gaming accessories.

Elevate your game: Three user-defined profiles offer even more personalization options. The Timer, FPS Counter and Dark Stabilizer let you manage everything from frame rates to brightness to shadow control. You can also navigate and manage the OSD menus with new joystick and shortcut buttons on the back of the monitor.

Customizable comfort: Simply snap your monitor into place using the Quick Release slots behind the monitor panel for quick and easy installation.

Flicker free: Controlling the brightness using a direct current enables a flicker-free screen, giving you a more comfortable viewing experience.

Game Longer: The ComfortView software solution reduces harmful blue light emissions to help reduce eye fatigue for your next marathon gaming session.

Thanks OP I ordered this monitor and it arrived today, I’ve tested it out and it’s a great monitor. I still have a lot of love for the 1080p dell monitor which was on offer recently at £129.99 (which I also purchased).

Both monitors are amazing! I can’t tell much difference on Warzone on 1440p compared to 1080p.

Also Dell customer care is top notch, credited me £12.00 as I forgot to purchase via Quidco which is tracking at 7%.

    Happy gaming everyone

VERY nice and HELPFUL feedback THANK YOU - very interesting to hear.

How far away from the monitors do you sit if you don't mind me asking?

    THANKS AGAIN!

I use my ps5 with this same monitor. Ps5 now supports 1440p too so it looks good

Would this be good to use with Nvidia cards? It doesn't seem to be on the Dell AMD FreeSync Monitors that are Nvidia G-Sync Compatible list.
    pawel.wydra's avatar
From what I remember, most (I think all of them) monitors are G-Sync compatible when connected to DisplayPort. The short list of "G-sync compatible freesync monitors" appears to relate to monitors that work with NVIDIA cards over HDMI.

Would 2 of these be decent for gaming? Sim racing?
    jaffamuffin's avatar
3, buddy. Left Right and cenre, I think thy would e pretty decent, a 3080TI should run them all pretty nicely fro rallying or F1 sims

Bought this a year ago at similar price, fantastic gaming monitor even for PS5. Yeah you don’t get HDMI 2.1 so no 4k at 120hz but it’s QHD and with Sony now enabling 1440p, works perfectly. Contrast is fantastic too with it being a VA. Response time is incredible too.
    TheCostOfLies's avatar
Given that almost no games actually run at 4k/120 on console, this really isn't a great loss.

    Superb monitor

Would this be decent for my kids room for a Xbox series S & general tv stuff from a fire stick etc ?

    Yes - I use it with a Series S and X, and it's brilliant

The unit I received (manufactured June, 2021) has a dead green sub-pixel and a slightly warped bezel. A little annoying (annoyed). I've opened a support request with Dell to see about getting a replacement.

It's a really nice monitor otherwise (I personally prefer VA over IPS panels), and the G-Sync compatibility works great. I purchased this primarily for gaming but, coming from an old 60Hz display, I'm amazed at just how much smoother even basic desktop interactions are at 165Hz.

    Esa_Mehmood's avatar
You don’t really notice it I have a 27 curved 144 it just looks nice in my desk curve doesn’t really make much difference good or bad

I placed an order approx. one and a half hours ago but I've yet to receive an email confirmation and there's no record of the order on my account when logged into the Dell website. Thankfully, I did take a screenshot of the final order page with the purchase ID and I have the payment receipt from PayPal, which is still showing as pending. I'll give it a little longer and then contact support. Anyone else having issues?

edit: Contacted support, they said everything looked fine on their end but confirmation can take a while (despite the checkout page stating that an email *had* been sent). A couple of minutes afterwards an email confirmation arrived. I thought it might have been a coincidence at first and I was just impatient, but I noticed that the name of the support person was listed as the sales representative responsible for the order. Everything else matches the order as originally placed and I'm now getting tracking texts. Long story short, might be worth pinging support if you find yourself in a similar situation. (edited)

This one.. or this one for £140? hotukdeals.com/dea…402
I will use it for programming, general use etc, no gamin (edited)
    Quickbeam42's avatar
The dell one would be a bit excessive for you then. You certainly won't need a 144hz screen or low response time. However for an extra 30 quid you're getting better value for money and future proofing with the dell
  22. yimyam1's avatar
This isn't great for watching films and hobby level photo editing is it?
    dfunked's avatar
You'd probably want an IPS panel instead of VA for better colour accuracy, so I'd say no.
  23. Crosshash's avatar
I probably wouldn't recommend this monitor for gaming since it's a VA panel.
  24. AdrianPetrache's avatar

  30. Manuel_Gonzalez's avatar
Any advantages of running games at 1440p resolution in a monitor like this (native resolution) vs a 4k 120hz OLED TV? I already have a 240hz FHD monitor for competitive gaming, I would use this monitor for single player games (qhd) only, but I also have the TV, so maybe not worth it?
    Abc_defg100's avatar
    Probably not.

Not a competitive gamer at all, so I'd take the TV and this over a FHD 240Hz.

But all three seems like a waste to me in either scenario.

Anyone advise on some speakers to fit this for a PS5?
    coolio28's avatar
Got some creative T40s series 2 - you will need an hdmi adapter though to connect from monitor to adapter to speaker - via AUX cable.

But bear in mind adapter will change settings on Monitor to either - 1080p/120hz or 1440p/60hz

My adapter does as it’s 4K at 30hz.

Unless you buy an adapter off which is 2k at 120hz. Adapters are on amazon. Mine cost £15.00 2 years ago.
  34. redondo5's avatar
    Is this 4k?
    jaffamuffin's avatar
No its QHD which is quad hd which is 2560x1440. Which is 4x as many pixels as HD 1280x720 hence QHD
  35. coolio28's avatar
Also anyone struggling to set the Xbox series S to 1440p with 120hz setting.

    Following needs to be done:

    - the settings on TV - select game mode - FPS setting mode - the refresh needs to be on “super fast”

    - go Xbox settings
    - display settings
    - select 1440p
    - select 120hz

Monitor should adjust to Xbox settings after that. Enjoy
    -
    TheCostOfLies's avatar
No you don't. The FPS setting is awful.

I don't use custom presets and mine works fine in 1440/120

i'm looking for a ps5 monitor for my son. I've read up about the vrr and the latest ps5 update does give some more support. am i correct in thinking though this monitor wont give you 1440 as its not on the list of supported monitor by sony and not hdmi 2.1 (edited)
    TheCostOfLies's avatar
Sony now supports 1440p output, so will support 1440/120 on this monitor.

However, VRR is only compatible with HDMI 2.1 TVs or Monitors on PS5, and will not work with HDMI 2.0 displays.

Additionally, VRR on PS5 currently only supports 1080p and 4K output resolutions, which means running the console at 1440p will block out users from the feature.

Basically, you can't have 1440p and VRR on PS5, and you can only have VRR with an HDMI 2.1 display, which are generally very expensive. (edited)

Genuine question, would this be monitor be good for work purposes and Web browsing? I'm after a better quality display.
  38. TheCostOfLies's avatar
The DGF is an IPS panel, so faster response times, but worse contrast, and flat Vs curved screen
  39. Rumcajs_9's avatar
