Does anyone know if the i7-12700H is worth the additional £200?

It would depend what you’re doing but the answer is almost definitely not, for 33% more money. The spec here is good for £600, though arguably still a little higher than comparable ASUS OLED laptops as it doesn’t appear to be the Pro chassis, just the basic Vivobook.

Just ran Cinebench R23 making sure its plugged in, all updates are applied and performance mode is on, with nothing else running or open.

    - Single Core 1,713
    - Multi Core 10,613

Compared to our Honor Magicbook 16, which has a Ryzen 5600h, the Asus is ~17% faster!

    - Single Core 1,428
    - Multi Core 8,994

Note sure if these results are considered any good, but so far not had any issues with my use.

I've had mine about a week and no issues so far. I've used Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, video playback and web browsing.

opted for the magicbook over this as I think these are plastic cases vs the metal magicbook ones
