Just as an FYI you want to stack the codes biggest to smallest. The discount is taken off the current total. So if you do the 10% and then the 20% it will take 20% off the total with the 10% already off. You're better off doing 20% first, then adding the 10% and then 5% as the discount is compounded.

That way the total for the AX9-2 is £106.71

Bare in mind the filter for the AX9 is close to £100 each. And they aren’t even HEPA filters.

How long does a filter last?
    regreid's avatar
depends on how clean your air is to start with and how many hours a day it is on for.
I recently purchased the A9 and it says our air quality is very good(use app for info) so i may reduce the amount of time it is on, or try it in a 3rd room and see if any difference. Seen the filters for £89 too, so a little cheaper than the £100 been quoted, hope that helps

*in fact on their site the AX9 400 ultimate filter is £79.99 and you can use the codes for that too bringing the price of that down to £54.72
Well worth it now IMHO (edited)

Anyone have a dispatch email as of yet?
    MRA4355's avatar
No but my order confirmation email says that orders will be dispatched no later than 4 working days after being ordered
  8. slobberchops's avatar
Yes that's them, electrolux is on my bank statement, will give it a few more days then see about refund.
    AJ10's avatar
They’re sending orders out in order by first come first serve basis.

I ordered on the 4th of Jan at 12:45am and got my order a week ago. If you ordered somewhere also in the morning then your order might be dispatched soon. (Of course don’t take my word for it). Also stock is also a factoring issue with delays where they themselves are waiting for units arrive from the factory. (edited)

It's like buying inkjet printers, cheap as chips but they hammer you when trying to buy original cartridges?

Great find, ordered. Let's hope it gets delivered!

Just a question but what’s wrong with the air that we’ve inhaled for the past years? :/
    Schizophonic's avatar
there's nothing wrong with the air right now, people are just being cautions as there's so many airborne bugs and partials going on now. One can argue you could be breathing in dangerous air around your house hold not knowing it and could cause further health issues down the line. People just want some sort of reassurance that they are doing what they can to mitigate these issues further down the line. You can get air testers to see the level of contamination but these filters do something to help reduce that. If people are so worried they would be wearing respirators 24/7 but thats not a comfortable. Over the past few years air filters hasn't really been a highly discussed subject till COVID hit the world and now people are more educated with whats around them and just want to look after themselves. I've got an air filter and over the past weeks it makes me cringe when I see whats the dust around my house and think I'm inhaling that everyday.

It is cheaper to buy an additional unit than just the filter.

I cant see a box to input the codes, buying as a "Guest" account.

Do I need to set up a regular account?

Edit: my bad can see it now. (edited)

So when do we all start to think nothing is going to be delivered and we have to chase aeg and their shocking customer services for our money back?
    dazshlaptop's avatar
Starting to think the same got a your item is registered email not anything about delivery onen
  19. MaybeTuesday's avatar
I've heard literally nothing since I ordered on the 4th, pain in the butt as I'm away going away for a month this weekend.
    dannyboy7303's avatar
From what I've gathered, they are sent out as the stock comes in. The people who ordered on the last "glitch" at Christmas started to receive delivery details the same time as some of the people who ordered 6 days ago, which I was one of them. I ordered 4 separate times, 2 have been delivered yet the other 2 orders I have received nothing. This leads me to believe when more stock comes in they will be delivered. Time frame is up for discussion but it does look like they will still come at some point.

Just received mine with DPD, the ax-3’s are smaller than I expected but for £37 I can’t complain, especially as I’m breathing the cleanest air I probably have done in forever 🤞.

Ordered on 4th Jan around 12am. Tested my patience in this ‘order yesterday, delivered today’ culture I’m too used to

    My order has finally arrived.

Ordered on 4th close to 1am.

49312962-ZxV2K.jpg Got mine too about an hour ago. Connected straight away only to find out I have very good quality air at home and didn’t really need the air purifier 🙈 I also was planning to get myself a dehumidifier which I clearly don’t need either by the looks of it

Still waiting on my order. no contact from them...

To replace the filters you have to sell a kidney

Worth to buy and resell it (edited)

Ax7 or the Philips series 800? I know the ax7 has a higher CADR but the Philips can filter more types of particles?
    MashupDeal's avatar
    Ax7 is really good

Can you get generic filters for the ax9?

This is great! I had ordered one from JL for £100 but I can now get 2 for less than what I paid for the JL one which is now going back.

yep, just bought the ax3 to go with my ax9 400 plus a spare filter for each total cost £118....plus hopefully cashback tracks.
For some reason it doesn't seem to have tracked on my last order last week (ax9) so i may have to raise a ticket or something.

Without hepa filters their pretty useless. Very little scientific evidence of helping asthma and allergy sufferers too.
    regreid's avatar
ax3 does have HEPA filter according to description

Thanks. Just purchased an AX7 that I didn’t know I needed.

    Hi All,

I have a small Taotronics one (like the AX3 size) that I very recently got - my room collects dust so fast so that I was thinking I might need another one - how good are these AEG ones compared to the usual ones like mine?

Please note: My main & sole reason for these is to remove the dust that just keeps collecting in my room no matter how well/deep I clean!

    Thank You!

Thanks. I got myself a new oven. Perfect time to replace the old one after extensive Christmas roasting and baking. Saves my effort on cleaning too
