Ram is upgradable to 32GB. Currently has 8GB single stick 3200mhz. The laptop has two slots so dual channel may be possible.
Nvme can be upgraded
Comes with extra SATA HDD adaptor and cage to add second SSD or hard drive
Thunderbolt port has display out and charges the laptop via USB C.
The laptop does come a lot of bloatware. I downloaded a new windows 10 iso from Microsoft’s website and installed everything from scratch. This sped up the laptop at least by 50%
Battery lasts about 5 hours of moderate usage. (edited)
You also need to add intel drivers to USB as the hard drives didn’t show up. Instructions here

You can alternatively download windows 11 and upgrade for free yourself too. Just download it from windows website and use the first link to create the usb
on the box.
Well, it is getting nearer to midnight, after all, right?

I always had 13-14 inch screens. 5 hours is pretty OK for laptops around this price with an i5 CPU. You can switch it to low power mode and brightness half to get more.
If you want battery higher than 5 hours you'd be looking to pay more as 7-10 hour battery laptops are usually around the £700 upwards range.
'Military Grade' is literally another phrase for 'built to spec by the lowest bidder using the worst mateerials they could get away with'
In event item fails or is damaged in an incident that it should have survived you can use that to support a claim against the seller under UK consumer law up to six years later, quoting their advertised robust spec / blurb back at them! Although you have to be persistent and may have to threaten small claims court.
I've successfully used that argument to get full price paid back from Argosand almost two years after purchase of an expensive microwave bought without added insurance. Which effectively makes such insurance redundant.
Fast forward to where he starts the comprehensive review. He even opens the chassis and discusses the upgradeable options.
I need if I buy an extra stick? Will 3200 be ok?
Thanks
Is anyone able to check that owns it, if the panel is PWM free when not at full brightness, it would be greatly appreciated
One thing i cant understand with most if not all brands that have the backlit keyboard is they spend time shooting a photo of this and that angle to make it very wantable shall we say.But they never show a good staged photo of the backlit keyboard. There is a very poor showing but its probably only the fact you have seen it mentioned that your mind takes over your eyes. OOS for delivery but had one at my local Argos/ Sainsbury's. Looks like vfm replacement for HP Pavilion Aero just returned for refund of almost twice what I've paid for this. Thanks OP! (edited)
Looking at the model number this might be the (slightly) better iris xe integrated graphics rather than the advertised uhd.
Thanks OP
Personally speaking, if a laptop screen needs to be less than 15.6 inches, then I'd say 14 inches is the smallest I'd like to go for - or 13.3 inches/13.5 inches at worst.
Or 12+ inches, if it's something like a Surface Pro.
Anything less than that, is like buying a toy. :-D
Windows is very graphically biggggg icon oriented, and the small small smaller the screen, etc, and you're potentially risking either eye sore (at best), and/or, eye damage (at worst).
I use my smaller screened device's (8 inch - 12.5 inch), for media consumption - mainly.
And my 14 inch - 15.6 inch device's, for thing's that require a bit more eye focus (though arguably, 15.6 inches tend to receive more preference).
Ordered anyway, seems a bit of a bargain! (edited)
