I brought this when it first came out and i still use it. It works better than any of the 3 mini's I have and the Screen Hub, its a solid bit of kit

Nice quality home assistant. Great paired as a stereo unit, especially streaming music with a muck cheap YT Premium subscription from Turkey or wherever.

These are quite good. Buy two for a decent stereo image. The sound is Okay, but not brilliant. It's a bit muddy, especially when compared to the newer Nest Audios, but at the price, worth a go. My daughter has two paired up in her room.- Added the below for it - Heat added

Very high quality speaker for £20 ! Owned one since release . Stonking price- Had one it was terrible, no matter what I did with the settings the audio quality was really muffled and weak. Swapped it for an echo dot. It was like night and day with the audio quality.
Swapped that for a HomePod mini the quality was even better. (edited)
Sounds like you had a dud one, we've got about 4 and theyve always work perfectly. Sound is fantastic for the price of the kit. The mini has its limitations though. 
Bought 2 the last time from red rock, paired them and use daily for music in home office setup. They forgot to include the adapters, but in fairness to them, they sent them straight away when I contacted them.
In terms of sound quality, how it compares with Huawei Al cube?
Can I confirm... It's wireless, as in it has a battery?
Or wireless/Chromecast.
In this instance "wireless" = connects to your wifi/bluetooth devices wirelessly.
It doesn't have a battery, so needs to be connected to the mains.

Already have one, but tend to use my echo/Amazon speakers instead. Is it still worth getting this for the stereo speaker sound?I would say yes, without doubt. Although my dots are older generations plus I'm not going to pay for Amazon music when I get music with YouTube Premium.

Good price, brought one at 39.99 about 3 years ago to replace my original tall alexa. Music sound was good with decent bass, used it happily for all my music for a good 18 months before replacing with the better nest.

Can this be paired with a Google Nest Wifi point which has a built in speaker?
I have bought 3 of these on the past couple of weeks from the same seller. Sadly at a higher price of £25. Arrived quickly but one thing to note is it's a US version and he ships them with an adapter plug. They work though and I'm happy with them. Got rid of my Alexa's and these look better and are very loud on the highest setting.
I didn’t get the converter plug with mine.
