If I buy this and activate it, then get a 1 month Game pass I will have 12 months access to Game Pass Ultimate?
make sure your auto renew is OFF. Put in a code and it asks you to turn on the auto renew to get an extra month free. Do this and then once code gone through just turn the auto renew back to OFF.
Repeat this till all have been used.
Do this if you DO NOT have an active Gamepass Ultimate subscription running. Then once all codes have been activite just buy a 1 month GPU and it coverts all to the GPU months.
I did this with mine last year and ended up getting around 17 months GPU in total for £47.
Technically the better trick is if you still have an offer to try GP for £1 that way you can load up on Xbox live up to 36 months worth then auto convert all 36 months for £1 that's what I did. I spent £66 for 3 years live at the time. It appears to have gone up at the moment.
Perhaps it would be best to wait a few weeks for Xbox live to go down again. (edited)
As a former game pass subscriber it actually was 10.99 to convert (not £1) I checked with support and they confirmed it was correct.
I am thinking I should have bought 3 of these for 36 months.
Does anyone know if I can add Xbox live 12 months on top of game pass? Thanks
As long as you keep topping up during an active subscription, it will keep doing that.
I'm planning to let mine expire, before topping up again (2 years Gold, then convert it all to GPU for £1). No way I can justify £10.99 a month for GPU, when I only use my xbox, once a week.
There are other deals on here where Game Pass is less than £1 so that should convert all your Xbox Live months but double check first, as I think you have to turn off recurring billing/auto renewal before you add Game Pass (so that they convert).
My GPU expires in May, so I'm shopping around for 2 more years gold.
Not worth buying 3 years, or you end up losing out. (Can't add the '3 months GPU for £1', if you already have the maximum 36 months - or the extra free month, for auto-renewal). Better just buying 2 years, then get the extra 4 months. (edited)
