Oh would you look at this. Best Gaming TV as reviewed by RTINGS. Primary use for me is gaming, secondary use movies, sport etc.
I'm delighted with this TV, and it would seem those who know their stuff are also. Happy days.
Brighter rooms and no burn-in worries go QLED. If you can control the light levels in your room and learn to not abuse your TV then go OLED for the perfect picture.
The TV comes up as eligible for free 5 year warranty.
Crampton & Moore had a discount on the TV for £1649. There was a 5% code which brought it down to £1566.55. Got a price beat from RS by £20 + £200 Samsung cash back on top (paid out early April). Paid £1346.55 total.
Hopefully it gives me no problems. My panel came straight and everything works fine. Only a bit slow when first booted up but give it 30 seconds and it'll sort itself out.
The rating for the 65" is 4.4* but the rating for the 55" is 4.6*. If your unit has no problems this is a great TV with awesome picture quality. That said, the panel looks grey-ish when used in environments with bright ambient lighting so better create a dark room for the best viewing experience. (edited)
Tv was £1457.19
Cashback £148.63

I have an LCD i use for gaming. I got sick of bricking panels over the years.
This Samsung Oled i use for Movies and streaming.
I would advise anyone who does a lot of gaming with static images to avoid any Oled TV just to be on the safe side.Reason being if you are unfortunate enough to get Screen burn, manufacturers will always blame the user.
Saying that i watch a lot of Football on this TV at weekend with static Scores etc and i have had no problem.
I personally think it is the ultra bright HDR games are Oled TV killers. That is just my opinion.
Stunning picture this TV.Those deeep blacks are so emmersive watching movies.
If you've got this TV and you're not using it for gaming you're missing out. It's one of the best gaming TVs you can buy
but the Sony was playing movie footage the Sammy the usual 4k city’s etc and both looked sublime I can’t choose between them
