About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Available in M, L & XL.
£549 plus £19.99 delivery. Down from £1,100. The cheapest I could find this for in £799 elsewhere. (Make sure you pay on credit card with any expensive online purchase.)
Carbon Fork.
Thru axle wheels.
1x10 MicroSHIFT Advent X 10-speed drivetrain which I have heard really good things about on mountain bikes. 11-48 huge rear cassette with 40T front so will cover everything you need. If you're a roadie riding with a pack you will want more fears though to be in the perfect gear.
Mechanical disc brakes (I prefer hydraulic but you won't get them at this price).
Love this, terrific value. And as it's a gravel bike you can fit fatter tyres on.

Explore further. Ride freer.
A capable, versatile gravel road bike. Built for chasing horizons, exploring routes less travelled or accelerating your commute.
Where it thrives
Gravel roads, out in the elements
What it's built for
Traction, handling, comfort
A capable, versatile gravel road bike. Built for chasing horizons, exploring routes less travelled or accelerating your commute. A balanced riding position: upright enough for comfort over the long haul and control on technical terrain, yet still low and forward enough for speedy efficiency.
Built with plenty of room for tyres up to 42mm wide, for comfort, grip and adventurous capability. With mounts for three water bottles, plus mounts for top tube storage, the Topstone is ready to go long. Multiple bottle cage positions on the downtube mount let you configure for big frame bags.
Key Features
A full carbon fork with a tapered steerer and 12mm thru-axles delivers a light, comfortable and precise-steering front end
OutFront Steering Geometry keeps the steering light and agile, while positioning the wheel further in front of the rider for stability and confidence on rougher stuff
Built to accept an internally-routed 27.2 dropper seatpost, which shouldn’t really be a surprise on a bike that's this off-road capable
Removable Fender Bridge bolts on when you want fenders, disappears when you don't
Light, durable SmartForm C2 Alloy Frame w/ full carbon fork for stiff but light construction allows you to convert more of your power into speed
microSHIFT Advent X 10-speed drivetrain for smooth and reliable shifting, with Promax mechanical disc brakes for great modulation.
WTB Riddler Comp tires, 700 x 37c

sorted byI recently got the Topstone 2 (2022) and this is my first "road" type bike since I was about 10 years old. Much lighter than my MTB and faster and easier to pedal on the road. Suprisingly there is not that much difference in comfort on the road to my MTB with 2.1" tyres, really impressed with the bike. It did take a few rides to get used to the bars and gears though, everything is in the wrong place compared to my MTB
I will be looking to change out the stock tyres on mine soon though for something better (40 mm WTB Nano's stock on mine). The good thing as well is you can put skinnier "road" type tyres on and it will fly on the road, not quite full road bike speed due to the gearing and weight of the wheels but plenty fast enough.
I also got my bike from Evans as they were the only local bike shop that didn't want to add another £130 to the sale price to cover the Cyclescheme cost. Can't fault my local Evans, everything was setup really well and staff are friendly and know there stuff. (Some bike shops can't even set gears up properly) (edited)

I was wrong here, at the end of the 12 months to buy out the bike you have to use a HMRC calculation to pay off the remaining tax for the "loan" period which would be 20 percent tax on 25 percent value of the bike (the 4year loan period is cheaper because it is considered the bike has devalued more and that tax on that is proportional). Not 25% cost of the bike as I stated earlier.
On a lower rate of tax an example would be a 1k bike after 12 months would be 1000 x 0.67 plus 20 percent tax percent on 250 quid valuation of bike (25% after 12 months) (50 quid tax). So in this scenario, to buy it outright after 12mo this would cost 670 + 50 tax = 720 all in.
The next question is if a 28ish% real world saving worth the faf.
I mean after student discounts and perks at work style voucher adventures (Halfords) these can reap a saving of 15-18% and it's instantly yours rather than "loaned" for 12 months and faf with HR/finance/HMRC. The downside is vouchers are Nonrefundable and your locking your cash into that gift card ecosystem etc.
TLDR - saving Dosh is faf and time. Welcome to HUKD. (edited)
Would something like this be decent for general exercising? As a noobie? (edited)
Arrived today. A few additions/upgrades, but it’s a cracking looking bike.
They need to be dropping silly gimmicks like thru axles and spending the cash on a decent groupset.
Many gravels come with tubeless tyres and I’ve never used those before, but having looked at them today I quite like the idea of them. I appreciate though that they are the marmite choice!
But let's be honest, when you say all weathers you mean in the rain I love Manchester.
Thank God they don't have my size (edited)
This bike is basically fast, but not quite as fast as a road bike, and can take fat enough tyres to go off road too. (edited)
If you get stuck try eBay?
Really like Cannondale as a brand.
I'll be mainly cycling on a turbo and slowly delving into duathlons and tris.
Would this bike be suitable or best going to the Giant/ Boardman? This deal seems great.
