About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Been on the hunt for a new laptop and was thinking of a Macbook, but in the end checked the Dell outlet and saw this XPS. With the discount code brings it down to £808, brand new they're on there for about £1200, so a very decent saving. Not sure on the refurb quality but it doesn't state it has any dents or marks so hopefully will be in good condition.

I have seen some reddit comments about getting a new XPS 9315 and complaining about the fan noise since new. So I guess it'll be a case of me waiting to see if I get any issues. I'll probably make a decision on my last return day on whether I'll risk keeping it.
It's strange why you'd need to replace the mb though, I've just seen they sell the fan part as well.
the 2x M2 Airs I purchased however. stay dead cool even when doing intensive work
And lots of other reported issues. Battery, display and system failure.
Screen is OK, but nothing special (no touch, no 4k).
Maybe I'm getting old, but didn't the dell outlet use to have some real bargains?
Ok, it's an XPS....but 800 quid for a Refurb???

This doesn't have the build or screen of the XPS but it totally destroys it for compute performance at the expense of energy efficiency/battery performance >

I'm doing some light Web development on an Asus i7 8th gen, 12GB at the moment and the battery on that is dire. If I open up any adobe app along with VSCode I have to charge it after less than 2 hours. Battery performance along with the CPU, RAM and SSD are my main priorities.
Still use my 2013 XPS 13 though in 10 years it's lost about 6 pixels in a small clump, the battery has been replaced, the mSATA SSD has been replaced (because I wanted 1TB not 256GB, not because it broke). Sure the dual core processor isn't exactly a speed king especially in 2023 but otherwise at about the same £800 that this deal is, it's worked out at about £80 a year so I am well happy. Oh, and the mouse is crap but I've always hated touchpads. (edited)
not sure if that's exactly the same model
So, it's now a Surface and Alienware for offspring and an XPS 13 and Zen for the elders.
