yes, this is a new game, but they have gone back in time to the start of everything. it is still mk12 in the order, but as it is set at the start, they are calling it Mortal Kombat 1

I've always seen Mortal Kombat as a flop. Well behind the likes of Street Fighter and Tekken which dominate the FGC.

Yes, a flop. 12 main line games, numerous spin off games, 3 live action films, a few animated films, been going for 30 years and still profitable. But yeah, a total flop. What a melt

Crazy how many people here don't get fighting games. Even if you're a casual (myself) buying it on release is always a much better experience. It's the busiest time, always new things to be found, experimenting with characters, and just discovering the game for the first few months.

This is a great price, but I've ordered the kollectors edition instead. MK11 made a big mistake by not having one on release (think they released it 1 year down the line).

Yes I say this all the time myself. Best time to get a fighting game is at launch when it's a level playing field and wider pool of players to match up against.

it is a deal for those who want the premium version on day 1 for a reasonable price, if you want a basic version you come to the wrong deal

No idea yet.
They may decide to release a second pass, an expansion, more costumes, who knows?

I get these games day one because I love MK but with NRS, if you’re not a massive fan, you’re best waiting a year or two for the complete edition at half the price.

I've only seen it for £239 so far, but considering the Premium Edition in UK is £79 vs the US at $109, I think that the UK £239 vs the US $249 for the Kollector's Edition is not a very good conversation rate (edited)
