Cracking deal this. Creamy toffee/vanilla stout from Danish micro-brewers To Øl. Beer52 were punting this at £3.49 a can.
Way past their best before (02/23), but in my experience stouts can go a year past bb easily with no loss of quality. Well worth a go at 42p a can.

  • Dessert-like beer with creamy, oatmeal cookie, and bittersweet chocolate aromas
  • Evolves into flavours of light roasted coffee, caramel/toffee, toasted bread, vanilla, and molasses
  • Roasted malts complement the milky sweetness, resulting in a flavourful and easy-to-drink experience
  • With lactose & vanilla
  • ABV 5%

Free 5-7 day delivery, over 500 cases left at time of posting.

Great price but that lactose & being 4 month OoD will test the strongest of stomachs!

‘Symptoms of lactose intolerance may include farting, stomach cramps or diarrhoea a few hours after having food or drink containing lactose.’
    cbates60's avatar
Why would you drink a beer with lactose in it if you've got an intolerance?

They must be laughing all the way to the bank, selling out of date stock that others refuse to touch, bought for (no doubt) next to nothing and selling for a massive mark up. Really, £10 for out of date beer. It's not the date it's the ridiculous price
    bozo007's avatar
Good news - no one is being forced to buy.

I've used this as the liquid in which to slow-cook brisket (8 hours at 72C) with added shallots, garlic, sea-salt & pepper. Add smoked paprika to taste.

Make the most gorgeous gravy, don't waste a drop of it.

Sweet stout has never appealed, but the comments here are making me change my mind - especially at this price! So, worth a go, and thanks for posting.

This is crazy. It was a great deal at £14.99, never mind £9.99! Stouts keep even better than light beers. Fill yer boots for the winter
    SweatySock's avatar
Get that, but Danish pastry...??? Not so sure about that... (edited)

    Thx,ordered, heated

I can't stand stout, but for £9.99 how could I refuse the chance to drink 24 cans of the stuff!?
  12. TheSherriff70's avatar
Love a pastry stout! They are like pudding beer. I’ll take my chances at £9.99 delivered. Heat added. Stout ordered!
  13. cbates60's avatar
I want the Trzech Kumpli Nesta stout but DD not giving free delivery, I've asked. Might have to add a bottle of that Highclere gin to take the order above £25..
    tommytbone1's avatar
Same here. No idea why that one isn't free delivery
  14. kalip's avatar
3.65 Untappd which is pretty good

I would not touch OOD pale ales but stouts should be fine
  15. gusco's avatar
Thanks for posting the update - ordered

Just had email they've refunded me. What a load of rubbish. Shan't bother with this company again. Wasters.
    Jim1_Smith's avatar
Doesn't look as though you're gonna be the last either!

I was going to buy some but didn't like the way it went from free shipping to free shipping with a minimum of 2 cases, to the standard £25 min spend for free shipping, which wouldn't even let me add random items to make the order over £25!

I'll be giving them a wide berth.

I just had the nocturnal and twisted haze delivered, haze ordered Jun 20 nocturnal ordered Jun 21.
Chased it up yesterday and Adam replied with update straight away.
3rd time of using DD and they have been great, bought 180 hazy jane last time.
  18. M1ke_Hunt's avatar
I think they have an AI bot constantly messing around with the products. Proper random website. Unless the staff are drinking the surplus cans

I skipped at 13.99 but I will bite at this price. Worst comes to worst I have a lot of it to use in my Yorkshire puddings
  21. bluesuns2's avatar
    What ABV are these?
    hodgester's avatar
    5%
  22. madfrankie's avatar
Ordered, managed to use 10% code they sent me for buying the Lightspeed as well
  23. bizzlebest's avatar
Two for me, looking forward to this! Thanks OP

I did think about getting this, but plumped for the Irish Christmas brew, which DD hilariously recommended to be drunk today. The longest day. LOL.
  25. TristanDeCoonha's avatar
Be quick. Only 330 left in stock
  26. foln's avatar
    Great find, cheers OP 🖖
  27. NICKZS's avatar
I'm not struck on this style of stout, but To Ol make phenomenal beer and at this price (with an old voucher code I needed to burn!) it's worth a pop. Thanks OP.
  28. CrudBucket's avatar
Damn, I was too slow - Looks live they've added minimum order of 2 and removed the free delivery.
    cbates60's avatar
Free delivery is still there but yes, minimum order of 2 cases now or you can mix and match with a different case

edit: no you can’t, you still have to buy the 2 cases of this (edited)
  29. reckoning's avatar
Quantity of product "24 x Nocturnal Session Danish Pastry Stout 330ml Beer Cans" can not be less than 2

Not sure I'd take a punt on 48 cans
    gusco's avatar
It’s worth it - good stuff - had it before , and the was best before it’s end date
  30. Oliver_Mason's avatar
delivery is still free - you just have to drink 48...!
  31. Foundabargain1's avatar
No free delivery for NI anyway
  32. johnraggett's avatar
Don't think I like stout but why am I tempted
  33. hat_ok_dear's avatar
Photo says no minimum order, but then when I go to order it says minimum quantity 2 and can’t be mixed with other items.
  34. Gstar2006's avatar
Ordered. Got new customer TCB and hopefully the £2 bonus. Worth a punt for 48 stouts.

Do like the sound of the Polish Nitro stout also. Might see if can fill a basket for a shot at those. :/
    kng138g's avatar
Wanted to do the same, but seems you have to buy at least 3 nitros for free delivery?
  35. dg83's avatar
Minimum 2 box order has put me off this.
  36. hat_ok_dear's avatar
    There’s still some stock…
  37. vicks's avatar
Difficult to keep up with all the changes \ free delivery\ not free delivery / have to spend £25 now had already bought 2 but had to add a few bits to get to £25 which is strange as i thought they came from different warehouses maybe they they have all merged now as a lot of them now need £25 but you have to buy 3 as you now can not add different cheaper items to the Beer Monster order
you just have to be quick if you see something you like As an aside i bought both the £9.99 stouts when they were £14.99 which i thought was a good deal and they are fine ( just got some more at the cheaper price )
    Jim1_Smith's avatar
Yeah I was going to get a case, then read it was free shipping with 2 cases (and a minimum purchase of 2) but when I went to buy some, it was a £25 spend AND I couldn't just add random grocery items to make up your shortfall so they can stick it in an area that's currently not illuminated by the sun
  38. martinelsen's avatar
i ordered this when the deal was live and never received it

it definitely went through as well

    not impressed
  39. sbentl's avatar
Me too, they should not have accepted the order without having enough stock. No explanation given why, if they ran out of stock they should've done something about it sooner, not even a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience of them cancelling orders. I won't be using them in future either!
    sbentl's avatar
Update - apparently they have discovered that the beers in the boxes they thought were stout were not actually (perhaps that's where the deal on the porter above has come from), still disappointed though. Would have been better if they sent the explanation out first and then the refund notifications - rather than causing confusion and complaints.

Seems like it was only some of the orders that were affected, wonder how they decided who the unlucky customers were? (edited)
  40. BucketMan's avatar
We use them almost fortnightly and the service and customer service has been spot on so far.
