Very good company to deal with. Always super fast delivery and great customer service. Ordered many items from them, never had any issues. I would recommend it to everyone. I have exactly the same air conditioning unit and it does an excellent job in this hot weather.

Google reviews don't seem to correlate with your experience!

A lot of people have been skating these lately. Just this brand because they seem to break and ignore you when you contact them

I've had a 9k one for 2 years and it's worked fine. Friend recently got one delieved that was DOA and are finding the company a nightmare to deal with. Taken a week to get a response

Bought a Homcom Portable AC a few months back and happy with it. Was received next day. It's noisy (they all are) but efficient and can be controlled from an app.

Homcom by itself doesn't mean much. It's a bunch of devices from various Chinese suppliers with an import brand (homcom) slapped on. One model may be good, one model may be bad.

Homcom = Aosom = MH Star (eBay seller)

    All the same company. (edited)

I've bought this exact one through the app last month! Started using it this month when it's hot. Delivery was fast and had updates.

So far the aircon been good.
Yes its noisey but what do you expect? Unless your paying £600 for a quieter one go ahead..
Works well for me as I use it for white noise and sleep with kids in the room.

I didnt bother paying £20 on amazon for the window adapters. Made one my self using tesco bags and masking tape 😄
    Works wonders so far.

Paid £246 for this, with promotional discount and app code. Same one on amazon cost aboutn £300 something

Anyone got any rough info on how much these cost to run? I know that will depend on your energy rates but wondered a rough idea if you had it running all night for example

I would say very roughly 38p odd an hour, depends what setting you have it on assuming there is any, lower setting would use less electric, probably has a timer on it so it can go off after a certain period. I would just run it before bed so you can get to sleep but not have it running all night whilst I'm asleep.
