info added by

Freestanding design
This freestanding washing machine sits on its own, stacked or under the counter. You can place it anywhere where there's a connection, which means it's great if you move house as you can just disconnect and go.

1400rpm spin speed
Spin speed refers to how quickly the drum can rotate in order to remove excess water out of clothes. The 1400rpm on this machine makes it ideal for doing everyday laundry, drying clothes just enough so that tees and shirts don't come out dripping wet whilst still ensuring not to damage the fabric.

ecobubble™
Make laundry less of a chore. ecobubble™ technology mixes air, water and detergent to create bubbles that wash your clothes at cooler temperatures.

AddWash™
Add to the wash, during the wash. Whether it's that stray sock you missed or extra softener, with AddWash™ door you can quickly drop in anything extra during the wash.

Auto Dose
No more guessing how much detergent to use in your washing machine. Auto Dose knows just the right amount for every load.

Smart Control+
Get a smarter washing experience with an easy-to-use control panel that remembers your laundry habits and suggests your favourite cycles. While the SmartThings app* lets you schedule your wash from anywhere.

Super Speed
No one wants to waste time waiting for the washing to finish. That's not an issue with Samsung's Super Speed cycle. Get an entire 5kg load of laundry clean in just 59 minutes with your Samsung washing machine.

Hygiene Steam
Banish more than just stains and odours. The Hygiene Steam cycle on your Samsung washing machine releases hot steam, eliminating 99.9% of bacteria and inactivating allergens**.

15 Minute Quick Wash
Going out later but your favourite outfit hasn't been washed? No problem. The 15 minute quick wash programme is particularly convenient when you are short of time and need to quickly wash up to 2kg of your favourite garments.

Fabric Care Drum
Tough but gentle. No more worrying about your delicates snagging, Samsung's unique Fabric Care Drum takes extra care to protect all your clothes.

Drum Clean+
Clean clothes start with a clean washing machine. Drum Clean+ removes 99.9% of odour-causing bacteria*** from the drum and helps get rid of dirt from the door rubber seal, without using any detergents. And after 40 cycles the machine reminds you to run it, so you'll get the most out of every single wash.

StayClean Drawer
Say goodbye to scrubbing out your detergent drawer with your washing machine. The StayClean Drawer rinses it all away for you. With no soap build-up, your detergent flows more freely into the drum for a cleaner, fresher wash.

Bubble Soak
Meal time mess? Whether it's cotton, synthetics or baby clothes, add a 30-minute bubble soak to your wash and deal with those stubborn stains.

Digital Inverter Technology
A quiet washing machine that's built to last, economical and has the added peace of mind of a 10-year warranty. It's all possible with Digital Inverter Technology.

After about 4 years mine keeps pausing mid cycle. I’ve got 5 year warranty but t&cs say if they come out and say I’m at fault I’ve got to foot the bill…
    misterboumsong's avatar
check the drainer at the front there may be a blockage causing pausing.

Make sure you get a good warranty for the Samsung, we had this and it broke after 15 months. It had a 5 year warranty but samsung could not get parts so had to replace with the closest model at the time .

    Hi.

Is the 5 year warranty of top of the 1 year guarantee?

    Cheers

Yes, anyone who reads these washing machine deals is well aware that you would prefer that one

I have had a Samsung ecobubbly for 8 years and never let me down. Its used every day as well. Its bullet proof this machine

I have the Series 4. Don't bother with the AddWash door. You still have to pause the machine to use it, and since it unlocks the main door at the same time you may as well just open that. If the water level is high then you can't open either.

Also the rubber seal squeaks agains the drum; there's no anti-crease feature; you can't delay the start of a cycle, just set an approximate end time; there's a spelling mistake in the menu; and you take the chance on the recommended cycle of it hitting 60C.

I was lucky and got mine for less than £300, and it's just about worth that. This is not worth double. Grab one of the LGs frequently shown here instead.

I’ve got an LG and it tries the demolish the house when it spins. I’ve tried everything to counter it. Anyways, my point is unless you have this model then you can’t really compare. Clearly my old LG can’t be like newer models, else no one with suspended floors would ever buy it.

What makes a washing machine good apart from efficiency rating? I would have thought for the money this would have a super quick setting, but the shortest on this is an hour?

It's a bit frustrating as you have to trade in old washing machine, as I would like to keep mine for using to clean non-household stuff.
    oliver_staunton's avatar
buy something, anything, off of facebook. something scrap

wait, what do you mean cleaning non-household stuff?
