I had a pair of size 42 when I wear a normal work and trainer shoe size 9 so size down as per description on their website. Some reviews mention cleat threading issues.

Okay so not adjustable on the bike but good reviewed shoe for 30 squids.

Product description
The dhb Dorica Carbon Road Shoes take the popular dhb Dorica Road Shoe and enhances it with a full-carbon 3k weave sole. This provides a significant step up in stiffness while maintaining comfort for all-day riding. Laces offer multiple ways to adjust tension across the foot.

Perforated holes on the top of the shoe increase breathability. The perforated tongue also helps increase airflow, and shapes over the foot for added comfort. The upper is robust, protecting against contact with the terrain or bike, and the toebox can accommodate a slightly wider forefoot, or a thicker pair of socks for cooler weather rides.

Fitting notes

dhb shoes fit true to size. This means they often come up smaller than other cycling or triathlon shoes. We recommend you buy these shoes one size smaller than your usual cycling shoe size

The holes that the cleat bolts screw into completely sheared off after a few months of indoor riding.
A few reviews of the product also say the same thing so I don't think my experience is isolated. (edited)

Thats terrible. If that happened during a long ride, then cycling up big hills with one leg wouldnt be fun.

Good deal, could I ask about:

"dhb shoes fit true to size. This means they often come up smaller than other cycling or triathlon shoes. We recommend you buy these shoes one size smaller than your usual cycling shoe size"

This doesn't make sense, I'm assuming this means "they often come up LARGER than other cycling shoes", right? So size down.

I have lake shore size 45, so size 44 in dhb?

So I did this when I bought them a few years ago sized down to a 42 when I'm normally a 43.
