This is more of a heads up, I visited the store where it was showing changing 10% off Discount Codes, I couldn't get it to work. Used chat, said code not working and choosing between this and Honor Pad 9 at £179.99 - they sent me a link to order at £180 delivered.

For a few minutes on online chat to get such a good tablet for £180 seems an absolute bargain!

As a note, each time I logged in and tried the code it said expired and also says not stackable. CS asked me to add to order then sent me a quote by email, accepted and paid.

Hoping it helps someone else too.

You can make text larger in Android.

Got this for £168 (£199 - used new customer code) from very few weeks back (now back to £299 there ) great tablet for the money

Had mine a few weeks and I'm not (so far) seeing any issues with battery life (I hadn't even thought of it as a problem and had been throwing it on chairs and so on and picking it back up...) or text size (I just set it up in android).
Seems decent. Screens really nice. Maybe I'll come across some massive issue but right now....like it a lot.

50683348-KGmpW.jpglooks a bit hit and miss, seems to depend on who you get in the live chat

How did you manage more than 10% off lol?

I wouldn't have thought any codes would work on this since its reduced £100 already and codes aren't stackable apparently.

Use chat, whether it is price matching or the additional 10% discount, it works out the same.

I was like you and searched the spec differences, but it was difficult, personal choice I feel. (edited)

Is this the same one that Argos have got for £189? Argos

No, that is the previous generation, not current or 6GB/128GB ;-)

Is this worth changing to from a 4/64gb p11 plus? (edited)

    I wouldn't have thought so.

    What was the code?

It was changing at the top of the page, which is why I used CS.

Very interested to hear user's battery life on this. I received mine recently but get around 3 and a bit days' life just on stand by. If I actually use it, the battery life is worse so not sure if I've got a dud or the battery is just really poor on these.

    Sounds okay to me

What is the performance like compared to the M10 2nd Gen that was on sale a couple of weeks ago?

I found the M10 is a little sluggish (e.g. when bring up the app draw) but absolutely fine for the price paid (£120 before workplace discounts + free clock), given it is mainly being used as a Kindle, video streaming device (edited)
    win26's avatar
A lot faster. G99 is equivalent to the Snapdragon 732g.
More RAM and faster UFS for storage, not the slow EMMC. (edited)

I managed to get 12% off, also had £2 credit for opening an account so cost me just under £174, don't think anything else can compete for that price.
    EvanQwe's avatar
Hi, can I ask how you manage to get the 12%? I am trying to get the 10%, welcome offer, through the chat but no hope.
  13. Didjerama1986's avatar
I can’t decide whether to get this or the m10 plus 3rd gen which is cheaper with a case. Any advice people?
    C0mm0d0re_K1d's avatar
Depends on your budget and what you want to use it for, and if you want maximum performance or speed?

Most low end to mid range tablets have older slower processors, limited to 3-4mb or less ram and older emmc storage which is slower than than the newer ufs type.

Think of it as a big phone when looking at the specs. I'd probably spend more on a tablet than a phone. As I'd use it more, due to the bigger screen.

I am unable to get the 10% discount, it seems that they've informed their staff not add the discount on already reduced items (edited)

    Ordered for £180 thanks op
  16. Darth66's avatar
Got it for 180 too. Hope its good!
    margamboy's avatar
How are you getting it for £180, I have tried using the 10% code but not being accepted, even when adding a Stylus it's still rejecting the code.
  17. Darth66's avatar
Go to livechat and say ‘been trying to use 10% off code but doesnt work. Makes it to £179 which is same price as honor x9 and deciding between buying this or that.’ Then the person will reply asking for email and send your direct link to buy at £180
    krum_boy's avatar
I tried, the guy refused saying its already discounted so I can't apply my code.
Also the live chat seems to be offline on the weekend

Hey folks - anyone who has this now, can you tell me if the Zoom app can be installed? I've set ours up for our kid, and the Zoom app doesn't even show when searching the Play store... Thanks!
