Is TEMU a legit company and reliable?

As per title.

Some really cheap prices. Hence the query.

Are there any new user coupons or ways to get good deals for a first order?
I'm willing give the site a try

Search up temu on YouTube and just click on an ad for a deal sometimes they do bonkers prices for items pretty cheap like electronic speakers. Make sure to message support for them to remove the minimum order they'll get it done in a few minutes

Got loads from Temu. Lots of clothes.

Glad to hear a positive comment. Some of the electronic offerings are keenly priced, saves one going to AliExpress.

Temu should not get any publicity it is ridiculously dodgy.

You can always check out with PayPal, i've had zero issues having placed about a dozen orders over the last four or five months.

It's good I got a couple oled switches for $7 a few months ago

Legit but full of tat and questionable operating procedures.

Source: 2 minutes of searching on your preferred browser.;)

    Unfortunately, browsers are corrupt nowadays.

I only bought last week because I had a 50% off voucher. The stuff is already cheap anyway, but arrived fine. Some stuff is a little hit and miss on quality but for the price I found it all good. If you want a 50% off message me.

Ordered some 3/4 pants from there and they were good quality and delivery is as stated. Ordered a few household items, they seem to be of lesser quality, but not bad.

Has anyone had the offer of getting £240 in vouchers after buying 3 items? Was just about to do it, but I was wondering if it's worth the hassle?

    It's legit
I've placed 4 orders over the last 2 months
Everything arrived before the deadline set time and items as described and working.
Free delivery is a plus, usually via EVRI or Royal Mail. TRACKING available from placing order to delivery.

I've never seen a single TEMU deal on here.

    £10 min order?
    cliosport65's avatar
£10 min order first then £15 min order after
  11. thesimpsons_uk's avatar
Yes, much cheaper than Amazon or eBay, need to spend £10 min though everything is tracked and has arrived safely for me so far.
    cliosport65's avatar
    Or £15 after first order

I was sketchy too, mum saw an ad on Facebook but after a bit of digging I was sure everything was fine. Paid via PayPal and clothes turned up about 7 days later.

Getting loads of it through Royal Mail! Don't even know how they make money charging so little at Temu but I guess its all Chinese tat that's sold in the UK so quicker delivery's.

    Small insight from myself.

Ordered 4th July, just gone 7pm, out for delivery today which is super quick, compared to AliExpress and others. Also ordered a few bits a couple of months back, which arrived promptly.

Slightly annoying min order is £10 but can't do much about that (I Always pay via Paypal for extra cover)

    Thanks

Good to hear from you. As you are a Team Member ✔️, when are we likely to see TEMU grace the webpages of HUKD?

Yep it's fine, my daughter has ordered an number of things from them. First got lost in the post but they refunded it. (edited)

Chinese e-commerce site, I have ordered couple of times and in both cases delivery was quick and in 5-6 business days.

Quality is same as other Chinese sites and key differentiator is delivery timelines. (edited)

It's worth looking through all the images to get a better idea of what your getting, as the stock first image isn't as accurate as the other images.

I've only ordered low value stuff and paid with PayPal.

I've placed a couple of orders now and everything was as described.

There's some insanely cheap prices on there at the moment, even cheaper than other retailers like shein & AliExpress.

My son played the referral game and his freebies actually arrived which I was genuinely shocked about.
    Jim1_Smith's avatar
What referral program do they do, I haven't noticed anything.

Before I install, anyone recommend or advise best practice or suggestions

Seen a few people do a 'hail' for ££ but can't see where this is in the app
    Not registering just yet too

I’ve ordered three times now , all orders have arrived on time , been good quality and free postage over £10 . Also if the price decreases over the next 30 days from order you can request an account credit . I’ve ordered via the website rather than the app though as the permissions on the app are a bit much , but that does mean you can’t play the games and things they offer for free items , but I’d rather my privacy was a bit more secure. Pay via PayPal so they don’t have my payment details also.
    Roger_Irrelevant's avatar
Can you not just deny permissions? Or does it not work without them? That'd be a no no for me.

I ordered a few digital calipers and was surprised with the quality considering they were like £2. Ok, never gonna be deadly accurate at that price but fine for the odd job. As above, used PayPal, delivery was around a week. Not sure I'd trust things like their UV rated sunglasses though
  21. jay.spearing's avatar
I do wish they do the $7 switch deals again can't find anything as good smh

I ordered some household bits and bobs from them, hose pipe attachments etc. Have a lower quality expectation to these products, some stuff is actually quite cheap. They keep pushing these 50% to 90% off deals into your inbox. Delivery took about 1 week, free when it's over a tenner and that's quite easy to spend when you see all the stuff you don't need but will still buy.

I placed my first order on the 12th, arrived on the 18th via Royal Mail (partially, at least, split into two parcels).

I had a 50% off code from a website, though I assume someone got affiliate bucks from the code as they all seem to be tied to referrals (just look at Reddit, TikTok, Youtube and the rest to see just how aggressively people push their referrals - they're everywhere).

It was really just for rotary tool accessories (cheapest price I could see anywhere) and a car detailing kit (!) though I got some cheapo jewellery as well.

My first parcel arrived a bit burst, unfortunately, and the plastic earring backs I ordered seemed to be lost (not in the package, anyway). Only one of the necklaces I'd say was too cheap to wear.

As I said last night, one Youtuber described TEMU as being like "Wish and Shein had a baby".

I think if you're discerning you will get one or two great buys but there's no high value items on there and people doing designer bag hauls from TEMU - honestly - they will be PU and crap, so keep expectations low.

There was a seller with a Swarovski GEMA necklace (alike) though, it went OOS as it took me ages to fill up my basket - it's on Aliexpress anyway, and a bit cheaper.
( edit: It's back in stock, I ordered the necklace and jewellery set from Aliexpress, it's not here yet temu.com/goo…679 )
(another edit: Hm, wouldn't recommend, I may be unlucky but a few of the gems on both of the Aliexpress "GEWA" necklace and bracelet I got were squint - not glued on straight - that old adage of you get what you pay for! No idea if TEMU's offering would be better).

You can also get a "price adjustment refund" if the price changes in the following days - see here (only got 57p, but, better than nothing!): tiktok.com/@as…890

This guy really doesn't like TEMU!:

Temu is a part of pindoudou (spelling?) a huge multi billion company. In China it's well know as a cheaper alternative to taobao (the alibaba/aliexpress company) however the stuff you get you sometimes get ripped off or is crap. I think In the uk you will have much better chance of getting your money back though.

So gave them a chance and ordered a cycling jersey and two Watch straps at a price to good to be true and 10 days later a rucksack arrived ! not impressed at all so I got a refund , deleted the app & unsubscribed from emails . You get what you pay for , for me they are worse than nannyexpress

Nice to see TEMU on HUKD. Let's have the deals rolling in.
One example I have just found, although with cold votes but that shouldn't deter peeps from posting deals from TEMU :
