Also be careful cash back only for new accounts. I bought it and it wasn’t tracked. Spoke to chat support and they clarified it for me.

i currently have a nord vpn sub that ends in november. Does anyone know if this "stacks" somehow ?
    matiuos44's avatar
Trust me, it has to be a 100% new account. I've been bitten by this exact scenario. I had a sub that expired for a few months (for which similar cashback was claimed) and when an offer like this came along I went for it using same account.

In me defense, Quidco website actually did not mention anything about only new customers qualify and I even took screenshots.

Claim was rejected by Nord around 3-4 months later, and when I escalated with them they were not interested at all in my screenshots and insisted the promotion only applies to new customers, not returning ones.

NordVPN listed prices are exc VAT. That's what TCB will base the cashback on. So will have to pay the VAT even if says 100% cashback.

I remember when VPN deals starting getting posted on HotUKdeals many, many years ago.

The reaction was so negative back then. Along the lines of....why do you need one if you have nothing to hide? Are you a terrorist, are you a child molester, are you a criminal etc etc. And it wasn't just one or two people...it was a entire squadron of angry villagers with pitchforks talking rubbish about something they knew nothing about. It was embarrassing in all honesty, and trying to talk to them was futile.

How times change! I'm glad people have finally woken up and realise why privacy is important! (and also getting access geo fenced deals as well (lol))

Most people buy a vpn so the screen doesn't go blank when they're watching iptv.
  5. kotlety's avatar
What do you guys use it for? Not sure if I need it or not.

Pay with AMEX, can get another 10% which assume not affected but TopCashback, as part of an Amex repayment.

For info, my TCB paid yesterday
    driver8's avatar
Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like it takes 2 months.
Coming from Quidco, it's first time using TCB - a good experience.

    Rebelutionary1's avatar
    Yeah 85% for me too.

Been using NordVPN for a few years now.
Not without their issues but not bad overall.
    At this price it's a no-brainer.
    Djim's avatar
It’s full of issues, frustrations. I would not recommend this VPN provider
  13. BargainHunta96's avatar
Just bought. Says £67.23 + 13% VAT with the total being £80.68?

New Account means new TCB account or new Nord VPN Account?

    new nord accnt

Having used a ridiculous amount of VPNs I’m gonna have to say NORD and EXPRESS VPN are the two most over rated. Not knocking the price. Windscribe hands down the best VPN. I would go for that instead. However I supposed people need to try the rest before going with the best. Hot price but better available
    Professor_Chaos's avatar
Any offers on Windscribe ? I think I have their free plan but Turkey not included
  16. LAS00's avatar
    Standard pricing really
    hilari0us's avatar
Not even close. Nord are one of the premium priced ones.
  17. aLV426's avatar
I have used Nord in the past, they messed my account up for a few days and after several emails service was restored, however I lost 3 days due to their account mess which I never got back.
  18. shug119's avatar
I have free Award VPN. Is this worth paying for?
    jujuzeez's avatar
nordvpn and express vpn are the kings of vpns. dont even have 2nd thoughts about the service delivery. its feature packed and sought-after vpn in the world.
  19. neiltamim's avatar
I can't really trust getting cashback from NordVPN now, I'm on my second claim trying to get cashback through Quidco and nothing ever seems to get processed with them.
    duncedunce's avatar
Have you tried Nord via TCB?

Try a fresh account for both TCB and Nord

    Cancel if it doesn't track
  20. jasonm225's avatar
I've got vpn`s coming out of my ears I must at least ten including a lifetime account with windscribe, I paid £59 for two years of nord VPN but to be honest i barley ever use it. Primarily I use a VPN to watch geo restricted content, I've found mysterium to be the only foolproof way to get around restrictions.
    driver8's avatar
Thanks, ... What's the best price to look out for, for mysterium ? (edited)
  21. BargainHunta96's avatar
    Paid £80 via TCB for 2 years + 3 months. Looks like it's tracked (£55.21). So it's effectively 91p a month for 27 months.
    jujuzeez's avatar
    win + win
  22. mikefgroves's avatar
Been thinking about using a VPN for general use a lot recently. Previously just used free ones as and when.

Used TCB, paid £80 and got it tracking at £65ish return so £15 for two years all above board I’m well happy. Cheers Op.
  23. dré.'s avatar
This says "subsrciption" so if I pay for the 2 years will this track @ 100% or is it 1 month's subscription only? Has anybody had theirs track?
    jujuzeez's avatar
full duration of the plan and payment
  24. AM_83's avatar
    Use Voucher Code: DAILYMAIL

    Drops it down to £63.87
    azl's avatar
won't that invalidate TCB as that is using voucher?
  25. azl's avatar
What happens when the plan ends? Do they automatically renew and take your money or you have to do it manually?
    jujuzeez's avatar
yes, tell them to remove auto-renewal immediately after purchase. live chat them, or a chatbot will send u a link to remove it.
  26. FunkyDomino's avatar
Topcashback only says 34% cashback now. Has it ended or something?
    Dizmo's avatar
    Mine tracked 57.78
  27. driver8's avatar
I'm new to TCB and didn't receive an email confirming my Nord sub, but this is in my dashboard - looks OK?

Same amount tracked here when tcb listed it at 100%. Sometimes cashback gets adjusted though at a later stage so be prepared for that.
  28. exel1966's avatar
I'll wait until Quidco offer 125% again. Done it more than once, I'm sure they'll do it again.
    Newbold's avatar
Quidco are excellent at making good offers.

But paying up is another matter entirely.

£57 with student discount and US selected
    williamkcc's avatar
But on the TCB it says not to use any other codes?
  33. DJGoose81's avatar
Thanks OP! 85% cashback tracked for me at £55.21 so works out about £12 for 2 years 😄
    BigGoron's avatar
How long it did take your order to track? Doesn't look like mine from last night has.
  34. ossian's avatar
I am with NordVPN and the performance and service is excellent but these cash back deals are for new customers only do don't get caught out trying to extend an existing membership. They are very strict on this. Great service but the undiscounted price is too much for me as I only use it when traveling not for exploiting regional pricing for services. I may try SurfShark or even Google's VPN when my subscription expires.
    dré.'s avatar
can't you use a different email address?

Given the information powers that HMRC have been given over recent years to collect information from banks, PayPal, ebay etc relating to transactions likely to lead to a loss of tax, I’m amazed that so many on here are prepared to risk a criminal record, with everything that does to your employability and credit.

Hardly difficult, is it, to require the production of a list of names and addresses of UK registered account holders claiming to be resident outside the UK. I’d be pretty amazed in fact if there isn’t already a system in place, following the new powers they acquired.

It is hilarious seeing all the five-eyes sponsored videos on Youtube telling the normies that VPNs are a 'con' and no-one needs them. Reminds me of all the so-called tech outlets a few years back telling normies that erasing their files securely was a waste of time, since the 'specialists' could always recover them. Then we had a certain high profile New York politician erase all HER files using exactly the sort of software YOU were told was a waste of time.

PS VPNs are not five-eyes proof, but that's utterly irrelevant.
    Newbold's avatar
The really funny thing, though, is that some VPNs are actually run by the very same agencies some people are trying to dodge - and nobody really knows which. I’d hazard a guess that there might well be some VERY trusted names included!
