I wouldn’t buy a cheap one again. Can’t really comment on this one as I’ve not seen it, but i bought a mont blanc one from decathlon for £180 and wasn’t impressed. Too small for mountain bikes and takes ages to set up. I wish i just got a thule one that’s designed for modern mountain bikes. Buy cheap buy twice

I've got the 2 bike version of this which is suitable for e-bikes too. 60Kg really is the most I'd be happy to put on this.
It's OK - does the job but doesn't feel great quality.
I believe it's manufactured by a large Vietnamese rack company.
I paid about £220 for mine when Halfords increased the price to about £300 so this price looks good to me.
I'm sure a more expensive carrier would be better quality but the downside is that it would cost more whilst still only doing the same job.

Can use up to 3 separate vouchers at checkout. Had 2 from my insurance renewals via confused.com rewards

Had this for a few years from Halfords and for the money it’s a top piece of kit. Don’t be put off by comments about it being cheap or taking long to put on. It’s solid and take as long as is needed to be sure the bikes are secure and you are away. Great first post (edited)

If only I had 4 bikes and a tow bar

Seems a good price but if it is anything like my Thule unit you will struggle to get 4 mountain bikes on it. Road bikes and gravel bikes tend to be okay. I think the image of 2 adult bikes and 2 small children's bikes tells you all you need to know. Voted hot.

I don't believe this one can be tilted when fitted so means you can't access the boot.

Got this a while back for occasional use and it works great. Can recommend it for this price. Just make sure you close any unused straps before you drive, otherwise these will fall off and you might also lose the plastic bit for the tires as well. Halfords doesn't do spares for this, so you need to find elsewhere...
