So I won the ebay item, paid in full within a few seconds of winning and waited for the item to be shipped. 14 days later I got a refund. No communication. I guess I have no recourse?
What exactly are you expecting? You got your money back. Yes it's annoying but what recourse are you actually hoping for?

I guess it's the fact that I won the item, paid in full and then 14 days later I got a full refund and the seller relisted the same item with a higher start price. To me it seems the seller was expecting to get more for the item and decided to relist it after he had sold it. I wouldn't be that upset if I had received communication or a refund within a day or two but to leave me hanging for 14 days I don't think is reasonable. (edited)
Same happened to me a week ago, seller listed, I was the only bidder, next day seller cancelled with "item faulty" and refunded. Seller probably looking for a higher bid.
Its a bit annoying, but its eBay, and reluctantly Buyers not paying and the Seller's cancelling is part of what I've come to accept.
At least it was marked as "item faulty". My weekend's purchase was cancelled as "buyer requested"
