Samsung £50 Galaxy Store Voucher

Hello,

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 which is arriving today. I've qualified for a £50 Galaxy Store voucher as part of their promotion.

As you can see in the screenshot i have taken it states that the "voucher must be used in a single transaction".

I'm somewhat confused by this as upon looking at the apps in the Galaxy Store, most apps are a couple of pounds at most. It also states that once the voucher is used, any remaining funds left over from the single transaction will be lost.

Can anyone shed any light on this as i am a little confused. Maybe i am missing something?

I'm wondering if this voucher could be used to purchase a case from the online galaxy store?

I'm so dumb, it's all in the pic I sent. It shows apps and phone cases. Good to go!

    In app purchases are included. There are possibly some pricy in app purchases available in games like Pokémon Go, Genshin Impact etc?

    I'm confused - OP what do you mean in EDIT 2 that it includes phone cases(?) I just had a look and can only see apps and games. Also everything coming up for me in the store is already showing as free. I can't find anything to even buy lol.

    It's the most ridiculous "offer" I've seen. You can use it on in app purchases, maybe like stupidly overpriced games or something. Can't seem to use it for anything useful at all.

    What the hell? I was about to make a purchase and would be getting this free £50 voucher. I assumed I could use it on something useful like a case or something. Can you put multiple purchases in your basket and buy lots of apps at the same time at least, otherwise it's a total scam?

    Has anyone actually found a use for this yet?

    I had a moan at Samsung CEO office but they were less than helpful, those are the terms blah blah.

    Added this to the galaxy store. The voucher is there . Whe I go to redeem it, nothing happens

    OK I've been back and forth with Samsung complaints dept over this stupid offer. Their stance is go and do one.

    I've had a look on the Galaxy Store and found one app, Monopoly Go which supports in-app purchases and there is one there for £49.99 (!) which could be redeemed using the voucher. So technically they can claim we can use the offer.

    I tried other apps, inc MS 365 which I couldn't even get to work properly from the Galaxy Store. Other apps say they aren't compatible with the Flip 5 or aren't available for download anymore. Also many use the Google Play system for purchases where the Galaxy voucher cannot be used.

    So in all, this is a completely useless offer. Unless you're a Monopoly Go fan that loves wasting all your money on overpriced pay-to-play games I'd probably just chuck your voucher in the (virtual) bin.

    How do you use the voucher when in game? I've activated a voucher in my account but when I go to an in-game purchase there is no mention of the voucher or anything. There is a pop up saying the full amount will be immediately taken from me and I agree to this if I click proceed. It doesn't even let me select a payment option or anything?

    I've got one for £10 which I thought was bad enough, might just buy something in Pokemon go.

    Ended up using it in rolls for Monopoly go for my kids only use for it
