If you get the cashback the price is very good.

    But high % you wont.

Negatives about them is no port forwarding which means for people that want to seed for torrents useless.

Most of servers are blocked from services like netflix etc and even google is annoying with recatcher refusing to accept correct selection large % of the time.

Be careful they enable rebill automatically (you need to contact support to remove this) and flood the page with other services so select correctly or you end up paying for things like anti virus for example.

I find the software very bloated on windows and android (nags alot as well about connecting or pushing other products)

Device wise they claim unlimited not sure I believe this.

Speeds can be hit and miss as well (if you have speed sped over 100Mbps don't expect these speeds around 40-50 is fine)

Some of the servers are useless due to speeds being so poor or as I said before the blocking

These have the same owner as NORDVPN but do not share same features or all the servers.

    1. Servers for netflix, Disney, etc work fine
    2. Agree with the rebill thing but all you have to do is send an email or chat.
    3. Software is fine and constantly improving.
    4. Speed hit or miss. Never experienced that.
    5. Found it just as good as NORDVPN but not as good as Expressvpn.

Beware I had followed all conditions and Surfshack wouldn't pay. Raised ticket but no joy. Topcashback usually great but Surfshack are scammers

50923220-xRyXY.jpgThink Surfshark are pretty good and would of gone for this if it was 95% - only showing 80.75% for me. Might wait for NordVPN 100% cashback.

I would suggest considering upgrading to TCB Plus account at £5 for the year to get 95% cashback.

    80.75% of £47.28 (before VAT) = £38.18
    95% of £47.28 (before VAT) = £44.92

Difference in cashback covers the annual fee.

Just mentioning following the recent activity of no payouts. Mine showed up on my TCB account no problem. I did it on firefox where my settings clear all cookies each time I quit firefox, giving me a fresh boot and then I just accept all cookies from both surfshark and topcashback websites before making my purchase. Don't know if this would help anyone, but hope it does. Also I didnt bother selecting Jersey as to not give TCB or surfshark any excuse for the payout, considering paying such a low amount after cashback is still worth it. (edited)

I've had so much bad luck with them not paying out. 😞

Like others have said here I took up an earlier and similar offer from Surfshark which promised cashback but when it didn't track I contacted TCB who said they needed a transaction ID in order for the purchase to track. Fair enough, but when I contacted Surfshark for the transaction ID I was told they don't issue transaction IDs, which in turn means no cashback, so I got a quick refund. I then took up a Nord vpn offer, contacted Nord for a transaction ID and they gave it to me immediately and the transaction tracked. Nord own Surfshark but chalk and cheese so be warned for any expecting cashback back from Surfshark.
    tonyawesome69's avatar
For Surfshark, transaction ID is given in the receipt so you do not need to contact them directly.

Add me to the list of TCB being refused. Bought back in Feb/March on a similar deal, TCB didn't automatically track and it took months for them to eventually say no even after an appeal and provision of receipts.

I've made good enough use of it to not hate the cost I paid, but it really soured my opinion. I wouldn't trust any deal which relies on cashback again.
    hotukuser2015's avatar
It may have been for the same issues I had. See my separate post somewhere here. If it was it wasn't TCB's fault, more likely at Surfshark's end?

Never tracked last time had to refund

You probably had the same issue as me - see my other post here.

I’ve used their NordVPN 100% cashback offer some time ago. It took 4 months for the cashback to arrive but it finally did and I wasn’t scammed, so that’s good and I can recommend them

Used a similar deal from my company rewards gateway with surfshark and they paid back. I cannot speak to topcashback but I can confirm a similar deal worked for me before.

Just read on their website that you don't need to worry using data abroad,as it says you can use like home through their VPN?
    Anyone had any experience?

Yeah. It's fine. You can trick the phone to use surfshark on the GPS location too. Not sure I've explained myself. Either way it works fine. It's all about the main internet speed you are logged in. If you have a poor speed, don't expect any better.

Just used this in Gran Canaria for ten days. First connections weren't great, but once it stabilised, had no problems watching Netflix, iPlayer, Prime Video and Paramount, apart from one or two expected rogue servers.

I have a Surfshark account but surely it just makes sense to create a new account to get this? I don’t see any loyalty benefit with Surfshark.
    tonyawesome69's avatar
Yes make a new Surfshark account with different email address to be eligible for cashback
  23. tonyawesome69's avatar
Surfshark cashback from TCB successfully claimed in less than 3 months.

Just went with this, paid and then it didn’t let me setup an account password etc.. I’m thinking this might be that I’ve had an account before? When people did this did it get you to setup a password etc

Maybe use your browser in incognito mode and try again, I also have had an account before was going to open up another email address for this deal.

Is this deal deffo £2.36 for 2 years - seems too good to be true?
  26. frshprince999's avatar
How long does this offer last for?

Also there is no issue with putting Jersey instead of UK right?
  27. Sym0n's avatar
Obviously it depends on which server(s) I connect to, but on my 500Mbps fibre I easily see 150+Mbps when connected to Surfshark, which is more than enough for my IPTV streaming needs.

I got a relation to buy S/Shark for me recently as I'd had it before and it was brilliant. It's just as good now and I'm averaging around 350- 400 Mb/s using my 3 years old 3 router and a £16 Smarty unlimited data SIM. Smarty don't increase their prices in April either! (edited)
    A57ton's avatar
You don’t need a relation, you just need a different email address.
  29. johnat107's avatar
I tried other email addresses and as soon as I ordered it they said welcome back. I suspect it was the card payment used as I used different mobile and tablets at various times. It was far easier to ask my partners daughter who was happy to do it for me.
