Confused sky mobile contract help needed !

Hey everyone , hope someone could help me out . I recently got my daughter a three mobile contract . iPhone 13 with 150gb data for £30 a month . I am currently with EE and my contract ended few months ago and still they keep charging me £37 a month for the data only . I am looking for a good deal but can’t decide which one to go for . I came across the sky mobile deal for iPhone 15 pro starting at £33 a month for 24 months . It’s only few Mb data but technically the phone will cost you £792 over the period of 2 years , which is a lot cheaper if you go directly with apple . My daughter does not need all the data so I was wondering is it possible if I order the iPhone 15 pro for myself for £33 a month and use her SIM card for myself and give her my sim to use it on her iPhone 13 with Three . So basically for £63 a month I will be having one iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 13 with 150gb data . This sounds great but I am confused I am missing out on something and I will end up paying more or the phones might be locked to the original network . Sorry if I confused anyone

Seriously this is so confusing so if I opt in for 12 months contract for the device it’s £54 per month so 54 times 12 = £648 + £48 upfront payment so the phone will cost you £696 again a lot cheaper than apple and it’s £0 charge for the data .

That one is a 24 month contract, with the ability to upgrade after 12 months (but you hand the phone back). So (£54 x 24) plus £48 is £1,344 and you're only getting 100mb data

Sky is a 36 month contract, it's very misleading

No, it's a 24 or 36 month HP agreement on the phone purchase, with the option to swap. The data contract is separate, and this isn't any different from most other mobile networks.

But yes, the naming is a bit daft, but who doesn't read the small print?

    Actually that is very confusing

    Ok..think I've got it now...
The 12/24 month bit is not a contract length it's the time you can swap the device..the contract will carry on after that..
So the 12month swap is a 24 month contract
And 24 month swap is a 36 month contract (edited)

Yeah I realised that too . I knew something was fishy as the deal sounded too good to be true

If your daughter is a teenager and U want to swap her 150BG DATA on 100mb DATA (or so), I can see her NOT SWAPPING WITH YOU. Teenager on phone without data?
I wish you all the best, argument with your teenager incoming FAST! 😁

she is actually 12 so 13 next year . I wasn’t ready to upgrade her iPhone 7 yet but she convinced me that her friends all have nice phones and every time they see her phone they would pass comments 🤷🏻‍♀️ parenthood nowadays feeling guilty either way . Don’t want her to feel left out and at the same time I feel she will feel entitled or spoiled if she already owns iPhone 13 lol

Sky mobile is such a scam. Literally rent-a-phone

No it's not. It's buying by the phone over 24/36 months. (You chose) You are BUYING it! I'm not sure why people can't get it.
    eg iPhone 15
    24 month contract = £48 upfront £44 per month
    36 month contract = £0 upfront £26 per month
