sweet - I did the 'report cheaper price' earlier hoping they'd price match down to £13.99

FYI if you bought yesterday at the rip-off price of £15.99 you can chat to an agent and get the £2 refunded, I just did

If you have a lot of time on your hands.

Are the items behind each window randomly assigned? Just wondering, as 2 kids, so 2 calendars needed. Will they both end up both getting the same thing behind the same window each day, or something different?
    Clydebuilt's avatar
I'm sure they are assigned identically.

Just slip the box out the cardboard sleeve, and move everything around. It's only a tab of tape that you'll need to cut.

Looks like they are price matching Very.

Nearly bought this, but as the lady just said.

Surely better buying a little set and making your own calendar (lots of ideas on how to online) and at the end of it they've actually a set to make up.

Can't do much with the contents of this. (edited)

Can't believe I got this for my kid at full price a couple of weeks back in case they became hard to get. It seems to come down by a quid a day. They'll be giving them away before the end of November!

This is a better price for a non brand linked advent calendar. I would love the Harry Potter one to drop to this price. With two kids, the HP one is too expensive. This I can just about live with. Just....

thanx got 4 with a promo £5 OFF £15 [not for everybody] spend ,find Amazon website so confusing though always trying to get you to join prime and confusing postage charges,I had x3 various amounts in the end just took the lowest.

Which one would be better out of friends or city ? For a 9 year old girl
    CashCow's avatar
Both ideal, however, based on previous experience of buying 'friends' Lego sets, they are aimed more for girls.

Edit. The age recommendation is 6+. You could argue this wouldn't be suitable for a 9 year old. Guess it depends on if she plays with Lego. (edited)

Does anyone know what the zuru Max compatible Lego is like with real Lego. Just curious as it's in tesco for £13, is it worth buying to compliment this on Xmas day?
    robotdude's avatar
I normally find it never quite grips the same. I know genuine lego can be expensive but we've got stuff back from the 80s still in circulation
  26. mudstuff's avatar
Nice, picked it up on prime day for 10% off, 30% is very good

Grrr I bought this on prime day for £16.99!

EDIT - I went on chat and they refunded the £3 difference. Only took 2 minutes, so thanks to the OP for posting the deal, or I wouldn't have spotted it!

    Cheers (edited)
