Argos click and collect

I placed an order via the app on Thursday evening for a gaming keyboard said collect from 9am Friday, had an eBay item to collect from the same store so I enquired about my keyboard as I hadn’t received the collection email

Was told it is coming from the hub and it will be available tomorrow (Saturday, yesterday) still no collection email but when I search for the keyboard on the app it shows as collect straight away from the same store !!

I spoke to Argos and am awaiting a call back from the complaints dept

I normally receive good service from Argos but not on this occasion

Anyone experienced the same ?

    By the pickup counter, after the collection email arrives.

    I don't know why people do not understand the concept of receiving an email that tells you when your item is actually available to collect.

    No, everything I've bought has been available when I received an email informing me it's ready to collect.

    Yep, I placed a click and collect order several months ago. Was supposed to be ready to collect by a certain time in the afternoon. I got there at that time to be told it wasn’t there and was “still on the van”. I ended up just pottering about for an hour til it got there, but it’s put me off using them again.
