TCL mobile support
Well first time I have felt I need to inform of an experience of very poor support from a company as a warning to others.
My TCL 20 5G, Purchased January 2022, ok phone up until September 2022 when the camera problem started, Phone would freeze and then blue screen and reboot when using camera, very sporadic so I sort of put up with it... Technology eh!
Progressively got worse then by July 2023 it was becoming a daily occurrence, ( retired by the sea, dog walker who does daily sun rises pics etc) so contacted TCL and after attempting to do the software update which phone would not do, possibly to do with issue it was sent to their repair agents and 8 days returned after them doing a factory reset and declaring good, umm that's funny cos I have done lots of resets, problem still exists, anyway long story short, back and forwards, fitted main board, but not the camera module that I was told could be the problem, and now resolution, final straw when their C. S says, I have 2 months warranty left and they can not find the problem, so basically make what you like of that.so tens of screenshot showing error messages, blue screens, black screens, corrupt pics etc etc.

At Jan 2022 the purchase price was highly likely to satisfy S75 threshold so assuming you had foresight to obtain maximum UK-based consumer protection via direct credit-funded purchase you have the option to enforce resolution via the credit provider (credit card, PooPants Crudit, etc) which is jointly and severally liable as the trader.
