Total with upgraded Nvme and using code BBURGER: 772.18
£20 more then palicomp 5600X / 6700XT i posted last night - but this does have higher case, which is more then the £20 gap, but to cut back on the cost its 11400F than 5600x so the reflection is £20.
plus also battles that 11400F/3070 lenovo.

11th gen CPU bronze PSU (where every pre build skimps) and DDR4 (of course with 11th gen)
I know it’s a budget system but the new CPUs retail for the same as old ones and DDR5 is super cheap now…

There isnt alot of performance jump from 11th generation cpu to 14th generation and at this spec you will be GPU bound and that is the same debate over jump to DDR5 specs.
11400F is better then then budget AM4s 5500 n co.
most builders (self) have bronze PSU: u do know most of " 20% of gold" are garbage right? and gold is about heat exchange loss, rather then actual quality parts "so this "prebuilt" u mention = meanless as self builders use it, recheck data on hotukdeals for Bequiet PSU.
as for DDR5 deals: they have been posted, for this spend we are looking at "4060". and 6700XT is a better graphics card and is worth going for older platform.
also this comment: "new CPUs retail for the same as old ones" = u know old ones drop ovetime right?
but if u can magical put ur "suggested" in action, we would love to know where it is pls. (edited)

Would you be tempted to hold fire until Black Friday / Cyber Monday?

Might save £10-£20 but can’t see it been much more than this tbh

I'd honestly go for just in 13th gen simply for e-cores. Their real value shows in practical use where background tasks won't use p cores.

Is an AMD 6700 XT on par with a RTX 3060 TI? Which is the better option?

There is a chart on this website that helps show the different performance (edited)
