PS5 controller drift

I've tried resetting and updating software etc, but both our controllers show up as out of warranty on the Play station repairs page

repairs.playstation.com/s/?…_GB

Question is, what has everyone one else successfully tried to alleviate this issue?

Depending on your game you can change your deadzone settings.
I mod controllers and stick drift is one I get asked about all the time, there is fixes but they're really not for the faint hearted

I just sent mine back to Sony and thought new ones would be close to the Black Friday prices, but they are over £70 most places

There should be an class action suit against Sony for this, I've had 1 controller get drift and another that had it sometimes that I replaced, so I don't really use it anymore. Also had friends with the same issue.

I got drift on my PS5 pad one month after launch lol. Replacements have been fine though. Still shoddy that they use such crappy quality potentiometers.
