Spent £10 today on my usual fairy. Please someone tell me what’s good at a much cheaper price! I literally can not cope paying £10 for laundry gel 🙉

For whites, Aldi Almat Bio Washing Powder is what I use. It's the best one according to Which?, but I avoid using it on coloured clothes as it can fade them. It's really cheap too at less than 10p per wash.

Great price, not so great washing results with this. Used it few times in the past, but it looks like you washed clothes with pure water without any detergent. Strange chemical smell, not so pleasant and it keeps for days, fabric softener won't help. Basically same as cheap Lidl or Aldi ones, just only Lidl ones have better washing power.
To quote my old granda' - "Ye get wot ye pay for in life!"

If its as good as Aldi Almat liquid detergent then I'll be happy

Did you put the gel directly in the drawer or did you place inside the drum ? (edited)

I used to buy the Bold version but the price was becoming ridiculous so I switched to this a few months ago and I honestly don't see any difference between the two, apart from the price.

Rubbish gel. Had to wash my laundry twice to get it clean. Binned with no regret.

Did you put the gel directly in the drawer or did you place inside the drum itself ?

Usually states Bio or Non Bio.
I'll assume not & that's why people are posting poor results.

I have used bio one. All grass stains and dirt on my boys tracksuit where present after wash. So very poor results!
