I wonder how long the battery will last. My other watches are solars. If I could get maybe 3-4 years out of it, I’d just have to buy one. I can get new batteries fitted in my local market for £5 but it won’t be waterproof from there on.
I love this watch.

My g-shock I sent it back to Casio for battery, £14 and guarantees waterproof if they do it . Well worth it for peace of mind

I put a black and grey Bond style Zuludiver NATO strap in mine and I'm always getting compliments about how good it looks.

Technically it's a sailfish (especially considering there has long been a watch named Marlin from Timex), but a great watch, if it fits you. Was my daily until this new year and still my water and land sports watch, so worn a couple of times a week.

I'm a big Casio fan, but I don't understand the appeal of this? Yes 200m water resistance is great, but it's just very plain and budget looking, like the model MRW-200H-1BVES (which I got for £10 and that was great value I admit).

Am I missing something?

Well said. Years ago I got the non Duro version of the Casio MDV-302 for £20. It also had 200m water resist and 3 chapter rings. That was way much of a better looking watch than this one.

It's a great no nonsense watch, I rubber strap adds to the chunky appeal, I bought the Batman blue and black. It's a bargain under £50…!

Only flaw of this watch is the rubbish rubber strap that comes with it. That doesn't mean that the strap isn't durable however. Its' finish is a bit cack, but you're not paying much for the watch to begin with. The actual watch itself should be able to survive anything except molten lava
