Right, I'm a HDUK victim. If I buy this and my wife finds out. How can I sell it to her to let me keep it?

When you compare a silent compressor to a normal one the difference is night and day! I can run my silent compressor at night without disturbing any neighbours

Mine is noisy as hell. I feel bad even using it during the day.

Didn't know b&q sold compressors. Been eyeing up the 25litre for a wee time now.

The 24L is also on sale with the same discounts so would be £135 plus TCB 😁 (edited)

As someone who would prefer yo spend £130 over £250, what makes you wish you went bigger?

Compared to a Bambi air compressor yes it is but not when compared to a cheap oil-less direct drive compressor.

A clear mile better than my old 25l oil-sump compressor but they're not that fast to charge and at only 50l, you can find yourself with it running continuously if you do anything serious (spraying, continuous air tools). Also comes with a little moisture trap which is nice to have.

My only problem with it is the charge speed. It won't run some tools while charging and I guess that's okay because it is still a small compressor, but the noisy oil-ones are faster.

Curious, what are the use case for this, please?
    Quicklite's avatar
Packaging inflatables, spraying paint & making noise to annoy the neighbours if you're into that.

I got the mid range 24l one of these refurbished for under £100, it's excellent in every way except it's charge up time, I often find myself stopping waiting for it to recharge. This larger one appears to use double motor compressors, so should be suitable for most work but I'd still expect to need to stop occasionally if using for hard uses like tools or car painting

Are these "man enough" to power impact wrench etc ? I got suckered into an Aldi one years ago because they were both on the same shelf - and didnt play together

    No

Bought 24L and struggled with low cfm spray guns 50L is better but only because it gets upto pressure quicker due to twin pumps. I bought the rocwood version which runs @ 8bar.

Ordered for £254 from them last Feb. Quality piece of kit. Definitely a noise upgrade over the yellow Stanley 20L. Main difference is not needing to switch it on much in the day between compression.

Watch the YouTube assembly video. Took a little time to figure out the assembly and the wheels. (edited)
