I bought one of these a pear tree, it has been grafted onto a hawthorn rootstock. Here is the warning, the tree has not grown much although the hawthorn has attempted to shoot several times. It has flowers and sometimes the pears start to form, but none of them has ever grown to a full size. This has taken around 10 years, so you have been warned.

On average is takes 8years before pear trees properly fruit. I hope this summer will be your year

Got this same time last year, hopefully will get Fruit this Summer.

Will these grow full size or are they the dwarf variety?

Never did understand how they stopped them growing...

At this price full size.

More expensive 'dwarf' types are dwarf roots with regular trees grafted onto them, so they don't grow too tall.
