Unless you are willing to sink $$$$$ in extortionate hotel and eating out costs, forget it. New York used to be a reasonable place to go to, but since COVID it has gone stratospheric.

Any saving on flights will be eaten up by your first nights dinner.

It has never been very cheap but like any big city there are plenty of places to eat without spending a fortune if you do your research. We did end up eating a lot of pizza though…

Sale to Manchester seems like a very unnecessary flight.

Had no issues with Aer Lingus, until last year flying back from Boston to Manchester. 7 hour delay an 3 days of baggage delays with little to no communication. Otherwise they've been brilliant when flown previously, so hopefully it was just a one off

As always, variations exist. I need to go in April, but coming up as £667 on my dates :/

I just paid 400 for this flight! How annoying

    A saving is a saving, but £60 on a £400 (ish) flight isn't amazing.

Get a Ryanair/Easyjet to Dublin and save even more as it's £240.

10kg luggage for NYC? Don’t bother.

I'll be jumping on this if anyone knows of good hotel deals - midtown - for early-mid April.
    Oh and thanks OP.

Errr....Bobbins is right. Prices have gone crazy. Cheaper and less hassle (no 2-4 hour stops in Dublin) to get an all-in deal for 4-5 nights in a decent hotel. (edited)
