Cue some comments bemoaning that it's a dry airline (no alcohol). But do take a jacket to survive the chilly Aircon when you transit in Jeddah.

Indonesia is an amazing place. One of my best journeys started with a flight to Jakarta, With a guide book I just made it all up as I went along, journeying eastwards, with various departures to different Islands. I'd love to do it again, and at this price am very tempted. Jakarta is a little limited in itself, there are some good museums and interesting monuments, and you must visit Kota Tua, the old dutch part of Jakarta. A wonderful place, wonderful memories.

Bigger issues with the fact it is a fascist state sponsored airline than no alcohol tbh

Depends on which island you go to. Bali is good all yr long, which is the most touristic island

What's the weather like in January? Is Jakarta any good or similar to KL?
