Thanks OP. very useful for working on the car . Double up, put two pairs on. They still will split easily but will keep your hands clean. The problem with these type of gloves is they always make them in miniature. Even extra large are too small. Unless you bought before and know your size, I would go a size up. (edited)

    Can be used for cooking?

These are better for cooking because Nitrile won't melt like Vinyl gloves. Make a mistake over an open flame and these will just split, the vinyl rubbish you sometimes see posted will melt onto your hands ( I wore a mixture of both as an oven cleaner professionally for three years - no choice of which as was an employee )

Why not get biodegradable ones which are better for the environment? amzn.eu/d/9…fGG

Thanks for posting this and providing a link!
I never knew these existed. Always hated the idea of throwing these rubber gloves, especially in the bin after a few uses (and I keep using till holes appear in the fingers).

Standard ones take 100 years to biodegrade, whereas the ones in your link take less than 2 years.

That is well worth it for a few quid more. It does cost a bit to be environmentally conscious, but that is a price worth paying

Ok to handle raw meat with these?
    Envx's avatar
Yes fine. I use these for handling raw chicken no problems at all.

Got these in black for £2.13 a few months ago and are good enough

Arrived today and I agree with the poster above - no way these are large. I can just about squeeze my hand in but its a faff. Seem OK quality but I'm likely to rip them putting them on rather than through use.

I googled 'barrel of lubricant' thinking it would be a clever add on for this. I'm a little disturbed now. I'm going to go sit quietly in a dark room for a while now.

Uni examination gloves. Who are these for, staff, pupils or the student union? Moon river!

Seems too cheap, I'm sure the UK Government were using our taxes to pay a lot more for stuff like this recently.

    Difference is that these work

Just to mention that if anyone happens to be ordering from CPC they have multiple options for this type of glove at cheaper prices. Only issue is you need to spend £20 for free delivery.
