I use these screws on pretty much everything, not just drywall, as they are strong, self-tapping and cheap (less than a penny each). (edited)

Drywall screws are not that strong, it's not usual for the head to come off when screwing them in with an impact. Much weaker than wood screws.

In my book you want 25 mm into the wood. So these are too short for me. I use 32mm minimum for 12.5 plasterboard into timber .

That is what I understand for wood from checking the board manufacturer : british-gypsum.com/tec…ber

However, it also says 10mm into metal track systems and offer description mentions track system so should be OK for this system only.

In wood or similar need 25mm so 32 or greater (I used 36mm on 12.5mm board and 42mm on 15mm boards). (edited)

I went for the regular forgefix multipurpose woodscrews 3.0 x 25mm for £1.81 - i think they are worth the extra 22p ( i am not using them for drywalling)
I also bought a box of 3.5 x 40mm for £2.49 ( forgefast elite brand). This size should be more useful .

They will come in handy for fixing featheredge fence boards

Are these screws good enough for mounting a shelf into concrete?
