"...humorous..." and "...a fun and accessible story for teaching young readers about gratitude and privilege."
- The Children's Book Review

Squeaks is a tire who does not appreciate his privileged life. He and his family live on a fancy car and have a very good life. However, Squeaks always seems to find something to complain about. He complains so much that his owner eventually sends him to the junkyard. There, he meets many tires who have harder lives than him, but still manage to find the good in every day. He meets Nailey, Melty, Flat Boy, and Spike. He realizes that his life is pretty good, and that he has a lot to be grateful for. He eventually gets recycled into a playground surface. In his new life, he is happy and grateful, and does not complain ever again.

I can think of quite a few adults, that should've been taught this lesson. Along with compassion, empathy, honesty, integrity. (edited)

What's worse than your accurate summation is that they often breed, and in greater numbers than the mean

I like Tory wheel, lives on a Bentley but constantly tells the older dirty wheels to give him money and how they should be grateful and make do with 30p puncture patches.

I like Labour wheel, refuses to roll without a 10% pay rise, 50 days holiday per annum, 3 day working weeks, and now on strike
