While I have something similar and have used it abroad on many occasions, I always return home grateful that I haven’t burned down the hotel/airbnb

Feels like they probably wouldn’t pass safety regulations

Lencent have been around a long time and have a good rep so I think we're safe but yeah a 100w travel charger for £7 does make you wonder

Amazing product got it last time it was posted, also delivered pretty fast within 5 working days

I bought this, used it overseas and plugged an iron into it with no issues at all. Brilliant bit of kit and a bargain compared to the Amazon price…

This looks like the same charger:

    amazon.co.uk/gp/…VV/

I own it, and it's decent but VERY light considering the features it has. Not sure I have much confidence that it won't catch fire if fully loaded.

been using with my laptop for a while does definitely power 65W when I need it.

    Hello,
I have a temp email and still doesn't come up

Why does the OP state 100W. This price is for the 65W only...?
    Yorkshire_Donkey's avatar
That's the description from the listing, you can select from the models the 65 or 100w versions

Why am I being shown a higher price for my long established Ali account? Almost double!

Why do we have to create a whole new account to get this price?
    TTT6's avatar
    Same here...

Coming up as £14.97 for me. Probably due to me ordering something in the past.

Edit - just created a new account and that resolved the issue. Ta OP. (edited)

Same for me, but I've ordered anyway as it seems like a good deal. Will be useful on holidays to charge everything.

I have one of these already, the 65w version.
I use it at home full-time to charge all my devices, and also used it in other countries.
    Highly recommended.

I will get a second one for the wife.
I've had to make a new account to get the price.
    Paid with Revolut, $9.01 (£7.12).
    Thank you very much. (edited)

    Thanks, ordered with new account

For the USB-A ports, is that 12Ws combined so 6W per port or is it 12W per port?

Got it last time posted very impressed doesn't get warm at all unlike my ugreen stuff
    indyjukebox's avatar
All charers get a bit warm. Even the GAN ones. If it doesnt, then it is probably not outputting the said wattage. Saying that my Ugreen and ANker chargers are warm but not uncomfortable to hold at full charge outputs.

Is it only for new customers?
    Spr.'s avatar
    Yes

I'm wondering how useful the mains socket is. Unless I'm mistaken there is voltage conversion (step up or down) so the devices you are going to connect to have to be multivoltage. In the past it was mains adaptors for things like portable MiniDisc players. The only use for it could be connecting a multi voltage laptop mains adaptor. But wouldn't it just be easier to buy a C5 clover leaf or C7 figure of 8 power cable with a European, American or Australian plug?

They are easily available for a few quid, not to mention safer.

    For example:

    kenable.co.uk/en/…tml

    kenable.co.uk/en/…tml
    Yorkshire_Donkey's avatar
It literally says in the description and images it doesn't convert voltage so no step up/down. This is for converting the plug style only for 110-230v products. (which lets face it most are nowadays but you need to check).

If anything this is safer than the examples you've given as they have additional fuses built in.
