Himalayan salt is the healthiest and purest salt available on earth with a structure similar to that of a diamond. It is mined by hand in the foothills of the Himalayas.
In addition to sodium chloride, which is essential for the proper functioning of the body, it contains iodine, magnesium, zinc, iron and calcium, among others. It strengthens and detoxifies the body by eliminating toxins and balancing the body's pH.
Thanks to its iodine content, it contributes to the proper maintenance of energy metabolism and helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system.
Our salt also has zinc, which helps the proper functioning of our immune system, helps maintain normal vision and supports the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
The iron it contains helps maintain normal cognitive function, aids in the proper production of red blood cells and hemoglobin, and helps in the proper transport of oxygen in the body.

Literally negligible or next to no benefit of himalayan salt... A great health food scam

Part of the issue is that whilst it does indeed contain minerals, it's not at all clear how much you'd need to consume per day to reach the RDA for each of them
