Nice deal but these machines are rubbish compared to the silhouette cameo. I have both and the cricut is vastly inferior imo. The software is woeful. Seems the cricut is the current trendsetter though. Mines sat gathering dust. The only benefit I would say, is that it is quieter.

Silhouette cameo 4, pro or the new 5 are brilliant. (edited)

Thank you for this. I have a cricut air, and there are a good few things about it which I find quite poor. I was thinking about upgrading to a different cricut machine but I didn’t know about this one. Thanks!

Brilliant deal. Got mine for around £340 on hot buy a few years ago. So this is a really great deal. Thanks for posting

Yeah just had a look on camelcamel and the lowest price ever was £339, and it was just the Maker on its own. It didn’t come with any extras!

Amazon has a similar-ish bundle at £439 right now, so this is a really good deal.

I just bought this arriving Monday. I didn’t realise it was inferior to the silhouette, most YouTube reviews appear to favour the Cricut.
Please could you elaborate on what’s inferior about the Cricut and benefits of getting the silhouette? Also which Silouhette model is best? I’ll be using it for architectural model making using different card stock and possibly thin bass / balsa wood. Thanks in advance. (edited)

The software is better and the machine cuts better. I have never really had any issues with the silhouette machine, whereas I had loads with the cricut.

I have never used either for balsa wood though. I'm not sure how good they are for this but I would definitely favour the silhouette. I have 2 X silhouette cameo 4 machines. Theres is now a cameo 5 machine out.

My wife's got a Silhouette machine and she reckons it's miles better than the cricut machine equivalent that her sister has
