Me and my family sell Raw honey and I can tell you that 99% of honey out there must be heated to some degree as per regulations. Where some producers differ is to what temperature the honey is heated. Our honey is heated to around 30° and is delivered from our supplier in Portugal.
You can taste the bees bum! Lovely stuff. (edited)

Small scale honey producer here. The only heat-related regs I am aware of are that honey should not have been heated in such a way that the natural enzymes have been either destroyed or significantly inactivated.
Ours is always cold extracted. Where is the need for heat?

In Lithuania 1 kg natural honey costs €5, it's really good for health and very delicious. Can't compare with any supermarket. I've replaced sugar with natural honey, I use it for my Matcha latte every day. Can't live without it
and no more Chinese honey and sugar from supermarkets.
Also, you can google it the benefits of NATURAL honey
    It's fantastic (edited)

Honey is sugar and it's metabolised exactly the same way as sugar. Some honey like Hanuka honey have mild anti-inflammatory benefits but people that believe that honey is the angel and sugar is the devil are kidding themselves

Raw natural unpasteurised?! I have known many beekeepers and every honey was like this. Why would you pasteurise a honey?!
    coony's avatar
A lot of supermarket and brand name honey is pasteurised. Same stuff that's likely got a high proportion of Chinese sugar syrup in.

Having said that, reading the reviews this honey doesn't sound great (edited)

If either of the Jars arrived smashed, you will NOT get a refund from Amazon unless the leakage is clearly visible on the photo they take of their Box at your front door.

Ive never had any sort of issue getting any refunds from Amazon for a variety of reasons.

I have no problem with "Pure Raw" or "Natural" or "Unpasteurised" or "Unfiltered" or "Unheated."

But they lost me at "Forest Wildflower."

    They are taking the "____"

My dad sells local honey from hives in the garden at about £6 / lb. All my friends who live locally, with hay-fever swear by it to reduce the effects. You have to have to honey from hives within a few miles to get the natural benefits ( same pollen )

Honey has natural antibodies, so I don't get the pasteurisation/or any harmful preventative measures.

I've heard this before, tho I can't confirm it as I don't suffer from hay fever, I think there might be something to it.

Contact your local beekeeper, you can find them through a simple Google search or try finding your local beekeeping group. It is far better to buy from these people than commercial producers which feed their bees on sugar syrup or simply water down the product with syrup. Yes it will cost you ~£6 a jar but it's far far better for the bees, your community and you get a far better product out of it. Think of it like buying a bottle of wine, you wouldn't buy the cheapest available (or perhaps you would) because it's crap.
    Paperinik's avatar
If they water down honey with syrup it's not a quality issue it's a criminal offense, so if one knows producers that do do he should report them to the police

Honey is removed from the frames by spinning and is filtered to remove wax and other debris - don't know how they can claim its's unfiltered. Most local beekeepers will sell honey for about £6 to £8 for a lb jar (edited)
    coony's avatar
Looking at some of the reviews it seems it's pretty low grade stuff with debris left in

Because of this damn website, I recently tried "intense" maple syrup for the first time. Oh wow. Forget honey, sugar, etc.
