4GB of RAM is unusable. No matter how cheap it is

For what it's worth, I am using this phone at the moment and I can say that it technically isn't unusable. However, it is the worst performing phone I've ever had, and it's a major struggle to use any apps. Looking at the Poco F5 pro to replace

Territory phone. There's a reason why it's now so cheap. Laggy, crashes, poor camera. Version 9 is better than the 12
    ThingyGuy's avatar
I have read that the camera’s not great. Doesn’t even have OIS, which my iPhone 8 does have

Click on get deal and it's £158 less discount code at checkout nowhere near £84

Looks like a great deal, hope they actually follow through, unlike last time when they changed it the night before the offer was due to start.

The £109 price will not change as the number of likes needed for that promotion has been reached. Yes there is always a very small chance the £15 auto discount could be removed as being eligible for this phone but I highly doubt it, as it currently applies this specific model when purchasing at full price. This deal will be effective on 25/03 at midnight for few minutes. Will be good price but worth sacrificing your sleep for £20?

Where does it say it's a £20 saving from the usual price? (edited)

How much of an upgrade would this be over an iPhone 8? Especially with the camera and screen
    cullies's avatar
    This has Amoled screen
  8. donmixes85's avatar
Is this better than samsung 20fe?
    shayman1992's avatar
No, this is a good entry/midrange level phone but I suggest going for something better, especially if you're using the Samsung S20 FE because this will feel like a downgrade compared to the Samsung.
  9. shayman1992's avatar
I can't get it below £94 it won't let me use the "24APP10" code

Edit: Ok I managed to get the price down to £84 by using this code: 10RN5G (edited)

the code is different. 10RN5G is working now

Lost my POCO M4 pro. (8 RAM /256gb) Just want something ""quickly and cheap"" as can be that could possibly not be too much of a downgrade from the Poco M4.
The 4gb RAM on this feels like such a blow to take as I'm used to more. However, I'm not a big multi-task user. I don't play high end games.
Maybe this is all I really need.
    I mean it's £84!!!! Seems a bargain.
Should I be feeling the need to hesitate :/
Keep thinking something better will pop up as soon as I plunge . Argh (edited)
    DopeyDunker's avatar
I had an m4 pro as well. I doubt you'd notice much difference for your usage pattern....and, as you say, this is dirt cheap

    B45H3R's avatar
How did you use points? It said points weren't eligible or something on mine. Did you have to create a coupon separately on the points page?
  15. CremeDeMenthe's avatar
£67.20 after maxing out mi points if you have enough, or add the Buds 4 lite and Wired earphones for £77.59 again after maxing out mi points.

Both items can be added when you check your basket below where it says 'Buy Together '

4GB RAM just doesnt cut it these days. Its becoming common to see phones with 12GB RAM

    Yes, but not for £84.

This, or the Note 13 4G for £124?

    Processor/graphics difference seems marginal.
    Same with camera(neither has OIS).
    6gb Vs 4gb
    5G Vs 4G (edited)

alot of people say the Note 12 is laggy and horrible to use. I think the 2gb extra ram will make alot of difference and the 13 will be supported with updates longer.

Is this any sort of upgrade in real world terms to the note 10 5g?
    CrazyPogo's avatar
I was wondering that. I've a 10 pro from when it was on offer, paid about the same as this one.

"There will be 300 units available as part of this promo."
Feels more akin to a glitch-type price than a price most people are going to actually be able to get? (still a deal though of course)

My daughter's Huawei is barely working, I need to get her a new phone but I don't have a big budget, would you advise me to get this one? Ideally I wouldn't like to spend more than 150, what would you recommend for social media use/photo mostly?

Have a look at the Xiaomi Mi 10 on cex. £145 in grade b condition. Grade b will be decent. For this price it's a steal, older phone but the user experience and camera are fantastic. (edited)

Would this be a downgrade from my note 9t 6gb/128gb?

Or an upgrade for my son's A32 5g which he keeps breaking the screen (edited)
