This should be cold if they were giving it away. I don’t agree with veganism, but I don’t agree with making live stock suffer for the sake of it. It should be banned in this country.

Just because it’s halal or kosher, it doesn’t mean animals suffer more. Animals suffer full stop. I personally would ban alcohol in this country, as it is destroying many peoples life. But I guess we can’t all get our way! (edited)

Seems a bit expensive for frozen chicken :/

Yeah, I'd be expecting around £5 a kilo

Halal food is always more expensive. This is why it's being voted cold as people aren't recognising the difference for a targeted market

Halal should always be cheaper not more expensive

This is a good price for thigh fillets. Aldi & Lidl prices are from £6.65 / £7.48 per kilo
Once an unpopular cut of chicken , thigh meat has been popularised in the media for its superior flavour to the water filled breast meat pedalled by the supermarkets and those supermarkets have responded by stiffing their customers by dynamic pricing on the more popular cuts ; we buy more they charge more !
Thighs with bone & skin are still available at low prices and remain very good value. Try filleting your own if you don’t want the bone & skin ; you’ll then find out how much time that takes and will inform your decision to purchase cheap bone in or pay the higher price for the fillets

I buy £1 worth of seeds and set off to my local park and come home with a box full of pigeons
Tastes as good as chicken if not better

I'm sure I paid £3.99 for 1kg frozen breast fillets from home bargains a week or so ago. So this does seem quite expensive.
